I really want to like this place. I really do. The lovely couple who runs this place is so sweet and nice, I've loved every interaction I've had with them. I love the ramen, it tastes amazing, but I stopped ordering it because I got food poisoning pretty bad last time I had it. And tbh, it never sat right with me before I got food poisoning either. I always went home feeling a bit queasy no matter what I ordered.

I came back after some time and decided to try their sushi because I remember how much I loved this place, but didn't want to risk being sick. I ordered a fried roll, and it was a bit underdone. Which is fine, I could get past that, but it was absolutely covered in a very thick, gelatinous, strong tasting sushi sauce which I could not get past. The texture of the sauce was awful. The flavor itself was ok, but because of the massive amounts of it, it was extremely overwhelming. I couldn't even taste the sushi anymore, which is a shame because the sushi tasted ok after I scraped the sauce off. I've had strong eel sauce and sushi sauces before, but never anything that consistency or strength. It just wasn't worth the $10 I paid for it, and it made me really upset.

I really want to like this place, but I've been like 6 or 7 times, and I'm throwing in the towel. They are so lovely and kind, but I really can't get...

The pork ramen was AMAZING. Authentic and absolutely delicious. I’ll be coming back for sure. The sushi was good, and I would definitely have it again, but the ramen is the star of the show. Don’t come here without getting some. And to top it all off, very well priced.

Update: we’ve been back several times and the quality never ceases to amaze me. The owners are so kind and helpful. We took our food to go and he gave very detailed instructions in case the food got cold so that everything tasted perfect by the time we made it home. Can’t get enough of this place. I think being in a food court makes a person apprehensive but for this place? There’s no worries about trying anything...

I was craving a poke bowl and that's the reason I ordered from this place on Grubhub. The app offered me a discount if I added one more item, so I chose a crunch roll. The crunch roll was really quite good, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. The poke bowl is terrible, though! The ingredients don't taste fresh, and not even adding soy sauce can fix it. I'm so disappointed since that's the whole reason I ordered from this place. Definitely don't get the poke bowl from here. Also, service was way slow since my Grubhub driver texted 15 mins after the estimated delivery time to say the restaurant still hadn't given him...
