This location seemed clean enough and the service was fine. The food, very meh, especially for the price. sigh I’ve been going to Noodles and Company since the late 90s in Colorado. It used to be my favorite restaurant. For 25 years I’ve been visiting their various locations in the 6 different states I’ve lived in, and all of them have been in a steady decline over the last 7-8 years. My young children still love the Mac and Cheese because they love pasta and bland food (and it is quite bland). So the last time we went, I got the Japanese Pan Noodles. They barely put any sauce on the food anymore, so I ordered extra sauce (which I had to pay extra for) just to get it as saucy as it used to be normally. The picture on the menu showed multiple pieces of bite-sized broccoli and a few sliced mushrooms in the dish. What I received - and I’m not kidding (though I left my phone in my car on accident, I wish I’d retrieved it and taken a picture) - had two VERY TINY pieces of broccoli. The same size I cut for our dwarf hamster, no exaggeration! Literally, our tiny hamster would want more broccoli than that. And there were three small slices of mushroom. So what I was basically paying for was some nearly dry noodles with a laughable amount of veggies and a couple sprigs of cilantro. The description even said it was supposed to have black sesame seeds and it sure didn’t have any of those. I’m SO sick of paying full price for stuff like this that can BARELY even pass as a meal, but there are days we are out and about and can’t make it home during meal time. If my kids didn’t like the Mac, I can say for sure I would never...
Read moreThe perfect summary of what eating out is like post Covid. It was 7pm. They closed at 10. They had signs on the windows and doors that they are only doing “online ordering” but to feel free to eat in the dining room. After ordering on my phone, and leaving a tip (I shouldn’t have, because the employees didn’t greet me, take me order, or anything) my friend and I sat in the dining room to eat. We did think it was strange that the chairs were up, since it was 3 hours before closing. We went to use the restrooms, which were filthy. The toilet in mine didn’t flush. I went to use other and my friend warned me that there was no TP. So I took the skimpy roll from the non-working toilet. We got our food and tried to move a chair to sit down, and were immediately bombarded with an employee telling us we couldn’t sit down, that’s why the chairs were up. She went back to the kitchen and we noticed another couple sitting in the booth so we figured that they just didn’t want people sitting on chairs-up tables. We were wrong, she immediately came and told us off for trying to eat again. We live an hour away from this location, we couldn’t just go home to eat. After booting us from the store and being forced to eat in our car, we definitely started having stomach issues about an hour after our meal. My friend said this had happened at this location before to her and her mom. Anyway- I love noodles and company. The food is delish- but this location is NOT worth your time or money. They need to get...
Read moreI have celiac disease. When prepared conscientiously I can have Noodle’s GF fusilli noodles. However, I have to order some gluten filled additions/garnishes to not be added onto my dish. In our visit we were not given a receipt, and specifically asked for the specific gluten containing garnish NOT to be added (it came with the dish I ordered). They either didn’t include that in the instructions OR the people that made my food didn’t follow the instructions. When they brought it out I told them I ordered it without said garnish. Then they took it back and I saw them put on gloves and pick out the chips. When they offered me the corrected dish I told them that I saw them and that I couldn’t eat it. I am furious as this has happened twice now and both times have delayed them delivering me my food by a significant amount of time. I am very disappointed in their service and especially since we didn’t even get a receipt to point out the mistake to them.
UPDATE: They brought out another dish, freshly made. Except this time, it wasn’t even made with Gluten Free noodles. I started taking a bite and realized before I could swallow and spat it out.
Thankfully a manager finally recognized the error and came out and apologized with some coupons for free bowls. At least the manager was competent, even if some of the employees aren’t.
While I moved my review from 1 to 2 stars for the great treatment from the manager, I won’t be returning to this...
