Square Roots — Restaurant in Orem

We went on Mothers Day so it was pretty busy. The service was good. The food was quality but some of the recipes are a little… different. There were seven of us. We got the huevos rancheros, the Peet’s breakfast sandwich, the eggs Benedict, the buckwheat pancakes and the crepes. No one really loved their food for the most part. The Huevo Ranchero was probably 60% sauce and the sauce was just ok. The hollandaise sauce kind of tasted like mayonnaise with a bit of lemon added. The coffee was tepid and just ok. The crepes were not like one would normally expect. Not really sweet. The breakfast potatoes were amazing as was the breakfast sausage and the buckwheat pancakes. The atmosphere was really cool (we ate on the patio) and the staff was friendly. They allow dogs on the patio which is a huge bonus for us.
