Was our first time there, and very likely the last. Wouldn't have even given it two stars if it hadn't been for the manager working who tried hard to correct the situation we ended up with.
The website said to make reservations for parties, which was attempted multiple times to no success, as they don't answer the phone or call back from messages left. So we went hoping we could just walk in without too many issues. The guy at the door taking reservations just smiled & nodded, then told us this was normal procedure, and @ that location it was first come, first serve. (Why then does the website say to call in for reservations...) so, we got on the list, and then was told there was no definitive time frame for when we would possibly get in. An hour later, we get a call that says our table is ready. So we go in, only to find out we needed to be put on yet another list for dine in, & were told that it would be at least another 1/2 hour before enough tables would be opened up for our group. We were mildly annoyed at this point,as we didn't know we would have to be put on a second list. So, we bought around $250 in game chip cards, and decided to just let the kids play games ahead of eating to kill time. 45mins go by and no call or text, then an hour, so I checked back to see how much longer. I was told that it shouldn't be much longer, maybe another 1/2 hour. She also told me that even though people are only allowed 90 mins @ the dining tables, they aren't allowed to kick them out even when they go well past that time frame. (This is not good management practices, and also not a good practice to have your employees lie to your customers) Needless to say, this was irritating. The kids were starting to run out of chips on their cards, they were all hungry, and getting really annoyed at how many games weren't running. They were running covid capacities, & counting people in & out, so having machines down shouldn't be a covid impacted item. It made no sense. (My only thought on this was maybe to just have less machines to wipe down?) Side note: As far as restrooms go, maybe just don't use theirs. Stall walls were gross, a couple stalls just didn't have toilet paper, and 1 sink didn't work. So, another 15 mins go by, and another adult in our party went to check the wait time, and was told 15mins to a 1/2 hour as a party should be leaving soon. This was 2.5 hrs of just waiting at this point. Another 20 mins go by, and 2 other adults check out our wait time, and text everyone that they had our tables ready... in the bar. We had kids with us. We got to where they tell us our tables were, and there were only a few small tables and only 8 chairs, nowhere near enough for all of us. The manager was trying to find more tables and chairs in the area, but ultimately decided to just move us into the party room, as that was really the only place large enough for all of us. We finally get situated, and the MOD apologized repeatedly for the wait and confusion, and let us know she was going to be the one who took care of us. We get all our orders in and most of us got water fairly quickly. Although we were happy to be sitting after 3 hrs of waiting, it still took another hour to get our drinks and appetizers. 5 mins after that came, all of our food came. Food was pretty good. MOD was really pleasant, she had a great attitude and was very accommodating to things we asked for, including helping us celebrate a birthday. Despite clearly being understaffed, MOD did not rush us to leave, or make us feel like a burden for being a party. After having been there for almost 5 hours, everyone in our group was actually really happy to leave. It felt like we were leaving chaos, and it felt like relief among all of us. A couple in our party had been there before, and said they'd never had such a chaotic experience there before. We were also sure that people who got there after us kept getting seated before us, which was dually aggravating. Short end of it is, no thank you, we don't care to sign up...
Read moreWe were invited to a reserved table for a birthday, a total of 2 families, our waitress did a great job she was on top of her game, I did got a little overwhelmed by it but I rather that than bad attitude any day. Food was great, but when the bill came (we had separate bills) I asked to tip in cash, no problem, but when I tipped the waitress she came back and told me thank you for the tip but next time to give more because basically I tipped too little because there was a mandatory gratuity of $28 dlrs and I had only given her the tip and not the gratuity (my bill was $105ish plus tax) but she would or had talked to her manager (I couldn’t understand that part) I told her I apologize but I will give her the rest and when I reached for my purse she left, when she came back I told her that I wasn’t aware of how things worked and she asked if the hostess didn’t mentioned it, but I said no because I wasn’t the one that got the table, she said there is always a mandatory 20% gratuity +tip for tables like this because of everything we had going on (food, drinks, slice of cake from the menu) I didn’t argue and apologized, ended up tipping $30cash (20% of my bill is about $20 but still on the website states 18% suggested gratuity/tipping so the numbers got me all confused and felt si awkward tbh), the other family paid their bill and gratitude but I did notice the waitress explained the process before they paid. Then the manager came to the table and by now the vibe was just off, she stand on my side and asked if everything was ok, my husband said yes and then she looked at me maybe it was the vibe or I don’t know but I felt weird by it, I had managers coming and checking on us several times in different places in and outside the States and is never felt like this, I reassured her everything was ok and we had already paid. So I guess it was all miscommunication, so my suggestion is to add it automatically to the bill, because if I don’t see it on the bill then is optional, so add it to the bill and let me see it in there so I can tip from there. Overall I think dining there could be expensive if you reserve a table. I would have liked the waitress discussing this before I paid so that I wouldn’t have ran short, that was very embarrassing. I don’t think I would be back...
Read moreMy nephew lost his iPhone when we were able to get a better tracking picture where the phone was it was at the front desk we knew one of the two girls that were working the front desk was around 1:00/2:00pm hid that phone. We called police and he mentioned they will view the cameras, we decided to call Hours later 9:30pm and another staff working the front desk answered they left it behind I'm guessing they got nervous and left it. I hope the GM checks the camera around that time and check what employee likes to steal and is dishonest my nephew had a white hoodie and long blond hair and came in with his dad who was wearing black for easier viewing I'm writting this so the GM can take the proper action of this employee. We were there for 2.5 hours and it did not move at all which was a dead giveaway along with a clear tracking footage that we got showing where it was it we had two phones showing it in different ways which help determine exactly where the phone was at first because it said behind bar but it was the way we were and but when we got the 2nd footage that gave us it to us more clearer we immediately went to the police. Need to say we have a police claim number and now we know that some of the workers at this place like to steal. When we went to pick it up from the new shift that came in and were honest obviously as mention the employee who grabbed it of the counter where my nephew left it when buying game card with his dad got scared and left it anther person with a pink purse was being returned with her purse emptied. This place seems to be just ghetto with untrusted staff. Call police to view cameras and speak with the GM. The GM was very nice and tried to help! I hope he does his own investigation and start really looking into the staff he has. I never recall this place being so ghetto with this kind of staff. Thank you to the later shift for not only returning it but also making sure we were the owners of the phone!!!!! Thank you because not all of you are dishonest and you could have reacted like that shift did but you didn't. I hope the GM praises you for doing the right thing. The 2 ladies working the front...
