Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen — Restaurant in Orlando

It's really sad that there is no 0 star or a negative star option here. I have gone to this specific cheddars. Numerous times well, over 20 times and last night's quality of service, food, and atmosphere had to be the poorest I have ever seen. I've received better service from a cell phone provider. Who I've been on hold for 30 minutes. The worst of it all had to definitely be the quality of food. Second to the quality of service. The comp breads that came out. We're very hard and very dry. With a texture similar to sand. (So much for it, it's just coming out the oven.) And then was told will get you new bread ( never came ) Ordering service was rushed, but delivery of the food definitely was not. For a not so busy night. The best thing I had that night was a plate of chips and half warm cheese my dinner option after 30 minutes of ordering. Was told no longer available? After having received the poor quality food and service, I denied having to order anything and eat. What was already in front of me? But my partner's food was available. And let me tell you, lemon pepper chicken should not look like pork chops, let alone only be seasoned with black pepper and nothing but black pepper. As I went to return the plate to my server came back jokingly saying. Yes, that was a bad plate. I tried the other piece granted instead of comping my whole meal. They only took off my dinner items. I paid and provided a significant 33% tip. Should have been 0. If only my server would have told me their name at all. Because the service between the tables next to us was night and day. It's a night to be highly remembered for sure. If you are in the area instead of this, you should eat at Lake nona Blue slightly more options and 100x better service...

First off I did worked in the hospitality industry for 3 years and I’m very understanding if the server is super busy and their getting some help from another co-worker. So that being said we got there and we were seated right away, they weren’t busy. The food was amazing when I mean amazing it was amazingly good, but the only downfall was the service it was horrible. Yes the server greeted us, they failed to mention any specials (we don’t know if there were any for food/liquor specials). We got 2 soft drinks, an appetizer and 2 meals, we asked the server a suggestion on appetizers the server suggested something but was unknowledgeable about the food item and the condiments/side that it comes with. If your going to suggest a food item the server should be able to describe the food perfectly and make you want it, we ended up ordering something else. When we received our appetizer we did not get any plates or napkins, nor did we get asked if our appetizer was good and everything was okay by the server. Then our meals came out they server still hadn’t asked if we were okay but dropped off napkins and kept it moving. The service was a D- and the food was an A+. We still tip her 20% because of the food but next time I won’t. I was absolutely disgusted with the server lack of knowledge on the food that they are trying to sell us and by the service level at such a nice establishment. ALSO THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME AT...

Always a super looooong wait. But the food was tasty and our server was ok. It did take for him to hear me talk to hubby asking what’s taking onions rings so long. They came out and were cold. He didn’t check on us until we were almost done with the cold onions rings. Then the main meal took like another 20 minutes .., it’s cheddars so we expect a long wait but shouldn’t be because the dishes are sitting waiting to be taken to the tables. Means the table delivery people are slacking or understaffed.

2nd chance to see if they stepped up their game, Due to their lack of hitting the mark last time. We were sat right away and the ambiance was not busy at all in fact I have photos of the staff hanging out conversing. We sat at the table for about 15 minutes before the server came to greet us. We gave him our drink order and our appetizers. The drinks came fairly quick. Apps came in at a decent pace. The croissants came out midway through Apps and it was cold.. wonder what took so long???? It took about an additional 15 to 20 minutes for our meals to arrive, but they were tasty. So all in all what needs to be adjusted is someone needs to have a better control of their staff? We're just sitting around and could be doing things that are more productive. I have to say our server was very attentive to us once he arrived...
