Bad, bad delivery and overall experience. Ordered at 710pm, was told 750-8pm delivery. It did not arrive until after 9pm. Prior to final delivery, I called the restaurant at 835pm asking where it was and they stated the delivery driver left it behind while taking 3 other orders. They had no idea when he'd be back or how much longer it'd take before we got our food. We were at an airport hotel with 2 young children and were not in a position to come grab it - hence why I ordered delivery. I called the delivery service, Grubhub, who stated there was no recourse other than a discount code for $5 the next order I made. I stated I was from another country, flying out tomorrow and simply wanted some monetary compensation, to which they could not accommodate. They called the restaurant on 2 occasions only to not resolve the issue and leave me on the hook for cold pizza that was delivered over an hour late. Neither the restaurant nor delivery company would accept the blame, which is common practice when more than one party has their hand in the cookie jar. Lesson learned and all I can say is buyer beware. Go grab it yourself and be very weary of using Grubhub or the 3rd party delivery companies. I'd appreciate money back Jyothi K: My apologies we cannot refund on this issue. I am apologetic about the problem you had to face on this order. Brian: Why? Because it got delivered? Jyothi K: I am extremely sorry about the trouble you are having on this order. Brian: Sorry doesn't account for incompetence. Especially in the service industry. Please explain why you cannot refund? At least partially Jyothi K: For the late delivery we can only issue the discount code. I am very sorry for the delay on the order but however there is nothing we can do further. We wish your next order will be of good experience. Brian: It's beyond late delivery. There are circumstances beyond this which the restaurant can confirm. The driver left without my order. It should have been delivered on time, yet he chose to leav Jyothi K: As this is the delivery from the restaurant driver and not by grubhub drivers. Brian: He either A) forgot it, or B) chose to leave because it wasn't convenient for him to wait Jyothi K: I am apologetic about the problem you had to face on this order. As you can see the only person that loses out is me with a late, cold pizza being delivered 45 mins late Jyothi K: One moment please. Brian: I guess all I can do is give you 1/5 stars and hope people read reviews and choose other options. When I said I wanted a refund he said would make the girl who took my order pay for it since it was not his fault. He clearly is a terrible boss and owner and does not know the meaning of customer service. I couldn't believe that he would make me feel bad when it was his business's mistake. I would never make a young girl pay out of pocket for it so I told him I would pay for it. The owner argued with me for 20 minutes not letting me finish my sentences. I will never go back.
