It's fascinating what others expect out of a hotel lobby quick-serve shopette. Better ones exist, but this is far from the worst. The cold case items were decent. I had the Italian sub and turkey/havarti and both were way better than gas station quality, but not quite gourmet, so exactly what I'd expect. Also had a sweetened iced black tea and chai tea latte that tasted exactly like the giant chain they "proudly serve". Rocher and vanilla ice cream were both solid and I'd have them again. The beef bulgogi and jasmine rice were fine. Large beef chunks and decent sauce... definitely not bulgogi, but edible at 10pm. There's a decent but limited selection of packaged snacks, drinks, and a small number of 21+ options. Prices are inflated because you're at a resort, and you should have planned accordingly. Staff do their best to be quick and efficient because of the insane number of people that constantly filter through. 4/5 because it serves its purpose, is clean, no one was rude, and the food was edible. -1 because the setup is a bit weird and the line that forms makes it hard to not elbow Diane and her entire brood while browsing. If you want tastier stuff, better options, and a personal touch, go to one of the actual restaurants on-site or take the water taxi...
Read moreThe soda out of one machine(the one in the back) is warm not warm as in been there for a while but it’s more then room temperature. We told the management of the hotel and we talked to the employees about it nothing has happened, this is four days later. We also commented on the ice which was always out and that was fixed. The warm machine also has no ice, the issue is that there’s no sign on it and you’d have to wait another 1 minute and 30 seconds. In the currently over 100 degree heat warm soda doesn’t seem very refreshing. If the machine is broken just put a sign up letting people know. It’s not hard to do. But if they can’t even get soda right I don’t know if I’d trust them with any food. The cups for the whole trip are 20 dollars a pop, for that price I expect at least cold...
Read moreQuite a nice selection of items like pre-made sandwiches, salads, and wraps, as well as packaged cookies, chips, and treats.
We only used it for grab and go as well as hand scooped gelato but I do travel a fair amount and felt their selections were definitely better than nicer hotels, and a better variety than I see in Resort Hotels.
As for the prices, yes you will pay a lot more here than you would at the grocery store. Remember, this isn't just a convenience store, or even a hotel convenience store. It is a convenient store, in a hotel, in a resort, connected to a theme park.
Do I like the prices? No, however, leaving a 1 star review simply due to price given the conditions I stated...
