This was for 12/19/23. I haven't been to this restaurant for well over 5 years and made the mistake of coming back. The service was so bad I'm not going to bother wasting time to write this review so enjoy this from openAI.
Title: "A Culinary Odyssey with Apple-bummer's: The Ranch & Margarita Meltdown, Served with a Side of Time Travail"
Step right up, folks, to witness the gastronomic marvel that is Applebee'sâor should I say Apple-bummer's? Our journey began with a quest for quenching our thirst, but alas, the elusive waitress remained hidden, leaving our parched souls in despair.
As we eagerly awaited our culinary delights, we discovered a magical disappearing act in progressâour drinks were as absent as a magician's rabbit. A feat of prestidigitation, indeed! Specifically, our margarita, promised but never delivered, left us yearning for the tequila-infused enchantment that never graced our glasses.
But fear not, dear readers, for the hostess emerged as the unsung hero of this gastronomic odyssey. With a welcoming smile and a knack for guiding patrons to their tables, she was the beacon of hope in this sea of dining desolation.
Yet, the plot thickened when our plates arrived sans the crucial accomplicesâranch dressing! A culinary caper unfolded as we asked our elusive waitress not once, not twice, but thrice for the sacred ranch. Alas, it was a quest that ended in disappointment, like a superhero missing a vital piece of their arsenal.
And if time were a spice, it would be the overwhelming flavor of our experience. A cinematic 45-minute saga unfolded before our food graced our table, accompanied by an appetizer of 15 minutes before someone inquired about the elixir of lifeâour long-awaited drinks.
In conclusion, Apple-bummer's may need to brush up on its magic tricks, inventory management, and time-bending abilities. But let us not forget the hostess, who deserves a standing ovation in this culinary circus. Bravo!
As a personal message to the hostess... You were doing literally everything to keep all the tables as happy as possible on that night. Corporate should be looking to retrain or promote you to get this restaurant in better...
Read moreAs a female Veteran I have enjoyed Veteran's Day dining at Appleby's for over 5 years. This year was absolutely awful. The difference between this year and previous years was I went with my daughter... there were no men at my table. All around us male veterans were receiving top notch service. Us on the other hand were left alone for over 20 minutes before anyone asked us if we needed anything. It took 15 minutes after we asked for to go boxes for them to arrive with our bill. No one came to get our bill and my card so we decided to leave only for me to get sent back to our table, in a packed house with people older than me waiting outside, to have my server take my card. That took an additional 10 minutes and 10 minutes for her to bring me my receipt to sign. All around me male veterans were in and out in half the time, with polite smiles. I also was not given the $5.00 come back card because those were for "real veterans". Never have I been so humiliated. It was the first time in my life I did not leave a tip. Come on Appleby's you don't need to be male to be a veteran. I don't know that...
Read moreOkay, We order an app and drinks to start. I ordered a strawberry margarita it came to me just a regular, premixed drink. We ordered the wonton chicken tacos it came with some off the wall white sauce, witch is not the regular sauce at all. My husband's stake and shrimp came with a pinch of fries and a whole head of broccoli, witch he didn't eat at all, I order the oriental chicken salad witch came with one crispy chicken tender. After dinner we still were hungry, yup still hungry after an app and 2 dinner entrée. We ordered 2 different apps the pretzel and beer cheese that came out with alfredo sauce that was do salty and so loaded with garlic that we didn't eat it. Our other app was over sailed chip and artichoke dip that you couldn't eat at all. The waitress totally noticed and didn't offer us a discount or take off anything to make up for the poor food. I Paid $100 ( with tip ) for a totally disappointment. I ended up leaving and going down the street to McDonald's. Never will we darken the door way of this establishment again. BAD FOOD, ITS A NOPE, SPEND YOUR...
