My friend and I went there on a Thursday night when Oxford does their summer music concerts, so a bit of a wait was to be expected. As we were placing our orders the lady working there told us it would be a bit of a wait but didn’t mention a time frame, but seeing as this is a boba store, we weren’t expecting to have to wait very long. The thing is, we ordered around 7:20pm and got our drinks at around 8:30pm! There were about 5 families in the store at the time so I would’ve expected about a 15-20 minute wait time. There was only one person working and they took more than 15 minutes for just one drink. My friend and I ordered our drinks together but hers came out first and mine came out three drinks later. It all seems very unorganized. The tea was very good tho and my friend even says it was worth the wait, but we shouldn’t have had to wait an hour for two drinks. The inside is pretty small which made waiting there for an hour pretty awkward. Many other people were waiting for their drinks for about the same amount of time. This was my first visit back to Oxford in about 3 or 4 years so I was excited to see the new boba places, unfortunately aqua tea was closed but we didn’t mind coming to this one. I really hope this place can find more staff, as it would get much more recognition and satisfied customers during oxfords...

Edit to original review: changed to 5 stars. This is honestly the best milk tea spot in uptown and the fact they reached out to fix their mistake goes above and beyond! Everyone makes mistakes from time to time and I hold no fault against them for the future. I've been here several times since the fall semester has started up again and will continue to do so until I graduate! Thank you to the owners of Drop in Tea for making an amazing product and having amazing customer service as well!!

Original review: I've been here several times, and honestly this is the best boba in uptown, but when i arrived today (around 4:00 pm) the door was locked and no one was answering the phone despite the sign saying "open" and the hours listed on the door saying they're open till 9:30 pm. This is just poor business. We waited for about 15 min to see if possibly someone was on break and would return (though no sign indicated this) and in that time 7 other people walked up to the door to find it locked and left. That's a lot of business lost. I'm not sure what happened today but if the hours changed or for some unforeseen reason you had to close early this needs to be indicated to your customers. I know i took my business elsewhere and I'm sure others did as well. It doesn't matter how good your product is if your customer service...

My friends, family and boyfriend love this place. Overtime though it has been declining in quality. Every time I go in the employees are complaining about the owner purchasing stuff they don't need like ingredients, the cotton candy machine, and the Princess AI generated stickers (which I personally liked). The cotton candy machine took away from the cozy vibes in there and the cotton candy tastes terrible. I loved their remodel inside until they added that. It also makes the area to wait for your drinks incredibly hot and uncomfortable. Their ordering system is an issue it doesn't make sense and the topping options is so confusing for customers and employees. The drinks never come out the same, ever. It used to be 50/50 on getting a good or bad drink. I order the same thing every time and it has never once tasted the same and has gotten worse and worse. I used to love this place but after the bug in my smiley egg, I think I will not be returning, and I urge others to do the same until the health inspector looks at this place and changes are made to how this...

In terms of variety, Drop In Tea doesn't have the largest menu in the world, especially for vegans. Additionally, their larges are $6.50 and with boba it makes it $7, which is quite expensive. On the plus side, their boba is vegan friendly. Additionally, they also have a few sparkling teas, which I've never seen in a bubble tea shop before and were pretty good. They also have non dairy milks, so if you just want a plain milk tea or a thai milk tea (pictured on left), you can make those vegan.

I got the super Thai brown sugar milk tea! This is my favorite boba tea place now and I’ve been to like 10 different places all over west Chester mason and Hamilton. Great service and I love the atmosphere and post it notes people wrote created everywhere. ❤️ Check it out you won’t regret it! The fruit teas are extra refreshing as well I had the pomegranate tea with pomegranate popping bubbles! YUM
