I love Verizon Wireless but the Verizon Wireless in Oxford, Mississippi is absolutely AWFUL. Don't get me wrong, I end up buying what I need but the road to get there is horrible. The sales associates assume that just because you're a girl at Ole Miss that you have 'Daddy's credit card' to buy whatever you want. I was belittled for an hour and a half about buying all this random stuff I didn't need (cases, screen protectors, a car charger...etc.) AND IF YOU SAY NO, they constantly begin to criticize your decision and make accusations about being irresponsible and how refusing to buy a case is going to ruin your entire life. They are disrespectful, take advantage of your kindness, assume you have no idea what you're buying because you have no sense of responsibility, and constantly degrade your knowledge if you go in knowing what you want.
Since then, I have made sure to go to AT&T to buy anything extra....Verizon just comes on too strong and is mentally exhausting.
Next time, I'm driving to Memphis. I suggest all of you do. If you're a Verizon Wireless sales associate reading this, please take what i'm saying into consideration and be more thoughtful when students walk through the door. A lot of us actually have to budget and have no connection to our 'daddy's money' whatsoever. I know several people who have had a horrible experience there....so please just be respectful....you never know who is walking...

Last week we came up a party of 4 and I decided to add 4 new lines as new customers and get iphone 14s free with a $25 a month for each like it said on the promo card. I'm not sure the young lady dressed in red with glasses was having a bad day or just didn't want to give us service. Anyway. long story short we used my credit and I was shown the spending limit approved for $7000! If thats the case then I don't have to make a down payment? That is more than enough for 4 lines and watch!!! The young lady claimed to be the manager Kendra and my husband asked her is there someone else over her or we could call. The issue was she kept said the credit application was on hold and they had to call the core people whoever that is which took forever. However, I will never forget how we were treated by this person when asking about how much for each plan, setup, and monthly bill. I guess that was too much to ask. She was very hot and disrespectful like we couldn't afford it. NO PROBLEM! WE LEFT AND WENT TO TMOBILE AND GOT 4 LINES AND 4 PHONES! I hope she reads this or her boss hires new people to deliver good customer service and not rudeness that will run...

Sharon assisted me every step of the way and was extremely attentive. She made sure that I had snacks and water after I had been there longer than expected and also found the best discounts available to me in order for me to upgrade my previous phone at the lowest possible cost! I would highly recommend visiting this store in person rather than going back and forth with Verizon customer service over the phone. The entire team was extremely personable and helpful, and I felt right at home chatting with them while getting my situation sorted. Thanks Verizon for an awesome...
