Food took two hours to receive. Overall restaurant is very dark, and it is too cold. Server didn't bring more bread to the table. I got the red snapper plate, and I am very displeased and saddened by the flavor. All of the food was overcooked and chewy. The green stuff was extremely salty. The fish was a little burnt and not seasoned. The potatoes were not seasoned and slightly dry. The tomato topping was too vinegary. Overall, this is one of the worst restaurants I've ever eaten at for the price. Also, nothing is dietary restriction friendly, and the seating is pretty cramped.

This is one of my favorite places. I love the speakeasy feel. The food is always delicious, and the service excellent. Friends and I had a wonderful dinner last night. I got the red snapper which is my usual. So good! Everyone else got a New York strip and they all raved. It was a perfect night of good food, good drinks and good service.

Salmon dinner (gluten-free) over cheese grits with grilled asparagus. The light glaze on the salmon was slightly sweet and delicious - One of the best salmon dishes I've ever had. The server was friendly, attentive, and sharp. Also, I liked the low lighting and the atmosphere that's very conducive to good eating and socializing.

To be fair the food was good. This has always been one of my favorite places to eat in Oxford, a nice place to have a nice meal and we have always had exceptional service. Tonight the wait was long, there were a lot of people and it was Friday, but our meal took so long the hour and thirty minutes ran out on the parking meter and I got a ticket. Our server chatted up the people next to us, but didn’t even try to have even a polite conversation with us. He never tried to connect with our five year old son who is well behaved and polite. The server didn’t keep track of my flatware so I was sitting with a nice steak and no way to eat it. In the past I would have said the service here was one of the best in Oxford tonight uggg! What really puzzles me is the portions were were served. $22 for three artichoke hearts with crab -the hearts were smaller than the size of a half dollar and small amount of crab, price point was totally wrong! My wife ordered a pasta less than a cup of pasta -that is the cheapest part, why serve so little pasta? I ordered a steak the meat portion as great, but there was more steak than potatoe -probably a quarter cup mashed potatoes. The portions on the cheapest part of the meal were so small. as I watched the table next to us the portion for the same steak were very different. Please note I will not be back for a long time if ever, there are good options else where. Again the food was good but the portion price/value and server e were not. Also eight dollars for a small Ceasar is...

Dark/damp and dusty atmosphere. Wow my asthma went whacko. Dark doesn’t make quaint. That food - yuck. The asparagus was as thin as pencil lead and just laid there. That steak was gross and undercooked and no seasoning but I guess if you throw a Pat of butter on it-it’s all good, waiter and staff and drunk college kids were annoying. Obviously they are preferred clientele-whoa the food you brought than was clearly obvious. The drunk girls were falling in and out of the kitchen. But the brawly guy who kept pulling the brown curtain tried to hide them. Oh and no warning that vaping allowed all around you. I have asthma. Newsflash. Not everyone wants smoke blown at them. As we left, they were practically begging us to please come back. It also was strikingly obvious. This is clearly a high prices bar with junk food. The price is high though. Only thing good about dinner was Ole Miss football on the TV beating LSU. Underage drinking - hmm better check those IDs. Kids were saying...

First, having to use a parking meter, too, too, My Cousin Vinny ......the menu had a variety so my party picked an item each one thought they would like..one of our party ordered a steak medium well, she got a medium rare, my wife ordered ravioli, she couldn't finish them, too spicy....I had meatballs and spaghetti, the pasta had been done way before the order was placed and the meat balls were hard and dry, the sauce was? Caned? Or bottled?? I wondered why I was given spoon to roll the pasta, it fell apart .... Anyway after traveling all day we were beat, and not to complain, who listens...we paid and left...good thing we did , the time ran out on the meter as we walked to our car....The pricing for the food for what was served was too high, Chef Ramsey would say bad words about the experience. Now , on a positive note, our server was attentive, the small pieces of warm bread were tasty, the...
