Wow! What a great little find! This place is super cool. To find it, you need to walk through the buildings that have a covered area with tables & chairs. We asked if we could sit outside with our toy poodle, and we were welcomed inside with her. So we ordered, since it was raining anyway. You must go to the counter to order your food and get your drinks at the self serva area. The server will bring your food to your table. Our server was Trea. He was very friendly and very responsive. The space is a variety of chairs, sofas table games. There's also a variety of high-top tables mix in, too! We ordered pizza, which is something that we haven't had in a long while, boy, we are we glad we did. The pizza was very tasty, and the crust was like a puff pastry! It was so delicious, I had to order a second slice ( actually a square), but it was so very good. If you are in the area, do yourself a huge favor, stop in, and get the pizza. They also have a huge craft beer selection and will help make a great selection to your meal. What I have learned, even when you're not that far from home, never stop exploring!

We had an enjoyable Sunday afternoon at The Growler. The atmosphere was cool and the vibe was chill. It was a nice place to spend the afternoon. The Growler has a great selection of beer that should suit most tastes. They have food as well, but we didn't order anything to eat. The staff was friendly and very good at recommending a beer selection. If you are in Oxford and want a craft beer, this is the place to visit! I look forward to returning on my next visit to Oxford.

Under new management, The Growler has gone downhill fast. The beer selection is still good, but food and cocktails are both significantly worse in quality and value. For example, here is a picture of a $5 plate of fries. There are a total of 16 fries on the tray, which works out to 31¢ per fry. If you’re going to switch to middling quality frozen food, at least be generous with the quantity.

We enjoyed this experience... the bartender was above and beyond one of the best service experiences we've had in a while the beverage choices were interesting and if you are a beer consumer you will truly enjoy the visit here they have lots of craft beers on tap and each one can be tried before u commit also have wines and liquors as well... The menu is simple and consists of bar type foods like hotdogs or sausage as well as philly and chicken sub choices and wings of course which come whole all of which were good my favorite and I'm not a fry person were the rosemary fries a must must try for the foodie... it's not gourmet dining though just good simple filling eats... they allow furry friends on premise and the atmosphere is bright open and kinda of a casual comfort lofty type vibe... great place to...

I attempted to order a pizza for pick up, and the number is a disconnected cell phone. I went on a Saturday night and just ordered the pizza to go ( a half-pan specialty ). I waited in line and ordered the pizza as it was advertised in the bar. The bartender advised it would only take a few minutes so and waited and he confirmed I wanted it to go. He came out with a very large pizza box with six loose squares of pizza that I took home to my family. It honestly tasted aand looked like it had been made hours earlier in the morning and warmed up for my order or was under a heat lamp for a while. I paid $40 with the 20% tip and the pizza was old and not good. The specialty pizza had cheese, pepperoni, and sausage...
