Lake Powell Italian Deli — Restaurant in Page

Let me set the scene: it’s lunch time, and I’m starving. I spot this monumental sandwich of perfection called “PARMA” I’m not Italian so let’s just call it the #5. This sandwich comes with fresh Parma ham, provolone, crisp iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions and the HOMEMADE vinaigrette! Bold move, right? I figured a sandwich like this must have some pretty serious game. Spoiler: it did!

First bite—chaos. Total, unhinged chaos. The sandwich was stacked with, ham, velvety provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, and the mysterious “homemade vinaigrette” - that on its own makes you want to drink it by the gallon. Oh, and the bread. Of course, the bread. Somewhere among all that was the perfect fresh bread with a crunch that shook me to my soul.

Flavor wise, it is amazing, best sandwich I’ve ever had, and I love sandwiches. I don’t think you heard me right, you might have heard “this guy likes sandwiches” no… I would do sketchy things for a good sandwich and this sandwich was love at first bite.

Walking into Lake Powell Italian Deli feels like stumbling into an Italian grandmother’s living room—if that living room had a small view of Lake Powell and smelled like freshly baked bread and olive oil.

I am so excited about our new LP Italian Deli! She gave me a free taste of the Pistachio Gelato which I now will continue to crave! I love the fact that the Pistachio is a tan color, not green! In Italy, when I took a class on how to make Gelato and what to look for, the Gelato Conoseur taught me that the green Pistachio will be the worse tasting and fake, the tanner the color the better! This is tan, smooth and truly a REAL Pistachio Gelato! The owners are delightful, incredibly talented chefs, so excited and happy to be here! My taste buds were dancing with the yummy, delicate, Pistachio Cannoli. I devoured the #2 Hot Panini Prosciutto Sandwich which is mouth watering and a perfect blend of sweetness with fresh Prosciutto and cheese! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were originally planning to have breakfast at Dennis, thinking it would be a quick and easy stop. Even though the place wasn’t busy, the receptionist told us the wait time for food was over 40 minutes—not just for us, but also for two other families. It honestly felt like they didn’t want us there.

So we searched online and found LP Italian Deli—and we’re so glad we did! It’s not your typical breakfast spot, but the sandwiches were out of this world. We ordered sandwiches #1, #2, and #3—and we loved all of them. My personal favorite was #2… so flavorful and perfectly made!
