Casual dining restaurants on the Strip are typically: overpriced 20%+, serve decent food and the service is hit or miss...Noodle Asia meets the Strip's A-ok criteria in my book
Noodle Asia Service: When the capacity is about 75% full or less, the service has been consistently good. Servers will follow up with your drinks and the kitchen will get you your food in a decent time. Above 75% and you might run into issues as it doesn't appear that they are staffed appropriately. Also, when a line forms outside the entrance you might want to go somewhere else if you don't want to sit at the counter
Noodle Asia Cuisine: I've only ordered the noodle soups as I always seem to be on a time constraint when I dine here. With that, the Szechwan beef is my current favorite. It's Szechwan spicy were it doesn't burn them mouth but I'll start sweating as I dine. The classic Hong Kong Won Ton soup works if you're not into spicy. The broth has good and better days but the volume of noodles and beef has always been plentiful
You can find noodle houses up Spring Mountain that offer better quality cuisine for cheaper. However, if you're confined to the strip Noodle Asia is your best/only option which isn't a bad thing. Keep your expectations with Noodle Asia (and life in general) realistic, and all can be well. The location keeps me returning. ...
Read moreMe and my boyfriend visited recently while walking through the strip,we were ready to end the night and thought we'd give the place a try- I'm usually never picky about food, but my meal was pretty bland,I couldn't really find anything to enjoy about it. However that's not what ruined my night,it was more so our waiter. As we were paying our bill I was asking my boyfriend if he had any change for tips he replied no. I was still looking for some in my purse but she rudely asked my boyfriend if he was going to pay tips. He answered no since the one looking for the money was me,and she got all defensive and asked "Well what about the refills? You're not going to leave tips for all the refills?". Keep in mind the refills were free...me and my boyfriend never mind leaving tips, however there is no reason to interrogate your guests, let alone loud enough so everyone can hear. I don't tolerate that,so we just left. 😞 If anything the experience just seemed like a waste of time and money and I hope no other guests are treated like this...
Read moreIt's decent asian food. But to be honest I don't see the need for me to ever come back here while I'm visiting Vegas, when I can get the same food for half the price any other time (I live surrounded by asian restaurants!).
They were out of flat rice noodle, therefore the server recommended the si jiu beef noodles. The beef and sauce are poured over a bed of crispy thin egg noodles. This is generally a good dish, and this one was not bad at all. The beef was very tender, and I liked the noodles once they absorb the sauce.
The combination fried rice was just OK. It tasted fine, yet something was very plain about it. I had to add hot sauce so it wouldn't be so boring. Instead of having slices of meat, some of the meat was shaped in little rectangles, making it seem very cheap.
Sooooo considering that you are in a casino in Vegas, not a bad choice for asian food. For my own preference, I would rather go elsewhere.
PS: Depending on where you are sitting, you can also watch sports on the TVs right outside...
