Had a night out with a group of friends. What a disappointment. The place was understaffed so everything was very slow. Staff kept apologizing but the evening dragged on. Food was soooooooooooooo over priced. We spent over $650 for 6 people for dinner with one bottle of wine and two mocktails, no appetizers, and five entrees, one salad and three sides. Sides are not included with entrees. We ordered two salads but one was forgetten and taken off the bill.
Least expensive entree was a shrimp and linguini that was $49. I had the pork chop for $59 (no sides). One friend had 6 scallops for $62, no sides. The best dish was a salmon that had a mountain of other seafood on top of it for $62. Two friends shared the 12 oz fillet. The salmon, pork, linguini and steak could be split between 2.
Linguini was just ok. Steak was lovely. Salmon was quite delicious… very rich. Scallops were ok. Pork was a tad overcooked and way over salted. Would have brought leftovers home but it was too salty to enjoy.
The waiter, Mario was charming and did his best.
We were seated across from the restroom doors amd right next to kitchen door so got to watch that traffic all night. 😝
The parking and walking into the bowels of the casino were stressful.
Overall i would definitely recommend going elsewhere. You can get a much better more pleasant meal for much less...
Read moreI go to Vegas 2-3 times a year, I have dinner at Phil’s or the Yatch club on September 2,2024…we dined at Phil’s for my fiancé’s (a 40 years veteran of all arm service) birthday, he couldn’t see the menu well, as I was reading mines. He really love fried fish, just as he asking me if they had it. I knew fine dining doesn’t serve fried food. The waiter Mr. Tall Mario walked up the same time he was asking. He asked him they had fried fish? He said the racist shiddd I’ve ever heard. This was my first time actually experiencing racism in my face. He said if you want side fried food You can go to Popeyes, and he pointed the direction of Popeyes. I immediately said if we wanted Popeyes we would’ve went. We wanted sea food. We ate there in March for My Birthday and it was great. That’s why I went back. The total was $222.00, No problem. I’m a big tipper for good service, I really felt bad that I didn’t tip, but I just couldn’t after that. I had the $50 for the tip, he said you know you only covered the meal? My fiancé said yes Ava we walked out. I went back to get a comment card which I’ll be mailing back today. After all that I still wanted to tip because it was really worth it. I just couldn’t give Mario my money. We’ll be back for New Year’s but it will Not be Phil’s. Beautiful professional restaurant, clean hostess ...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE!!! There is a reason why the total reviews are only 3.2. We live in Vegas and have eaten at just about every Steakhouse in town. The only reason we ate here is because we were meeting a friend who was staying at the hotel, and it was a matter of convenience. My wife booked this restaurant, but if I had saw the reviews prior, I would have picked somewhere else. I was hoping since this is a 30 year old hotel that at the least we'd get a great Steak at a reasonabe price. Let's start off with the fact that this is completely overpriced, but if this was similar quality Maestros or SW Steakhouse I could understand, but this was low quality. I ordered a 12oz Filet Med-Rare and it came out overcooked. Accidents can happen so I asked them to cook it properly and then it came out undercooked (less than rare and cold inside). Remember this is a Steak house. How can you screw up cooking a steak properly twice. It wasn't seasoned properly, and I've never had a Filet so grainy. To be honest I didn't eat it and brought it home for my dog. I hope he appreciates an $88.00 piece of meat. I hate to write such a bad review, but it's important for people to be advised. If Phil's reads this, you guys need...
