Read moreGood burgers as usual, but minus one star for service with an apparent two-faced, bi-polar attitude. We waited about 5 minutes before anybody noticed us. Cashier finally came out of the kitchen after chatting with the cook, and was very pleasant when we first came in, but after we paid for our order, she went back into the kitchen and was talking and laughing with the cook again. Not a word about where to wait, just that she would let us know when it was ready. When she came back in a few minutes, and saw we were still standing there, and rather abrasively barked at us to "Hey! wait outside, we can't just have people waiting around in here. Covid, you know." After stepping outside, we saw a customer who had been sitting outside at a patio table come in to request a drink refill and the cashier not only served him immediately, but chatted with him for 2-3 minutes after. A warning to all: if you order takeout here, be prepared to step outside IMMEDIATELY after ordering or you will get chewed out. The cashier was pleasant again when she brought our order, spouting compliments, but that was little recompense for her attitude earlier. I agree with supporting local small business, but I do NOT agree with poor treatment of customers, and attempting to patronize them afterward as if...
Read moreThere was only one other person in the restaurant waiting for food and it still took well over 10 minutes. First and foremost I'm Hispanic born and raised in California 4th generation so I speak English very very well, and this is not my real name because everybody in Paso would know who I was.
As I was watitng, then eating my meal I noticed something every time a person came to order and pay, if they were Brown and looked Hispanic and spoke English the guy would tilt the screen and point to the tip area to get a tip out of that customer.
If a customer came in speaking only Spanish he would tilt the screen, and instead of asking them for a tip he would point to the "skip" on the screen, so they didn't have to tip! Why the double standards? And this was not just a few people it happened to, there were 9 people that I saw this happen at the beginning of the lunch rush, and it happened every single time. 5 of them or asked to skip the tip.
French fries were not that good, they were greasy and burnt.
Double standard restaurant with substandard fries. I hadn't been here in a while and was craving a burger, now I will make sure I tell all of my friends and coworkers about this place and how the double standard exists. Find another burger...
