Ziggy’s — Restaurant in Paso Robles

It’s pretty great to have a quick easy vegan restaurant that isn’t like “here is some raw broccoli and carrots in a tortilla”. Sometimes you just want something deep fried and delicious. Or something vegetarian and delicious without having to like do a whole restaurant thing or cook anything. I had a burger here a while back and it definitely satisfied my burger and fries craving. Tonight I picked up some black bean taquitos and cauliflower tacos and both were delicious. it was plenty for two people and relatively inexpensive. Someone else on here complained about the price but this is cheaper than McDonald’s. (I think, I haven’t been there in a while.). I’ll definitely bring my vegetarian and non-vegetarian out of town friends here for a treat. Also, the staff have been really nice both times...

Great esp for a vegan restaurant. Strongly exceeds expectations.

I ordered the mushroom burger with a Ziggy Paddie. Was overflowing. Very good. 9/10

Basic Fries were good (not great). 8/10. Will try upgrade version.

UPDATE: I'm systemically going thru the menu over time... Dirty fries are awesome. Must get. 9.5/10 Definitely upgrade from regular fries.. impossible burger is great too. Cauliflower taco very good. It's hard to eat cuz it's sprawling 8.5/10 Grilled cheese is a bit too basic and not quite fulfilling. 7/10 Crunchwrap is 8.5/10. On smaller side but tasty Chicken sandwich buffalo style is 9/10. Bun was a bit dry. So fell apart. Chicken was perfect. Buffalo sauce is moderate + spicy. Buy again. Lumpia special is perfectly crispy with a great sauce. Sl unusual texture...

We obtained coupons for a free soft serve ice cream out of the mid state fair book for Ziggy's hot vegan and vegetarian food. I was amazed on how great the soft serve flavor was. The place was spotless and the gentleman up front was very polite. I noticed the cashier was photographing some food items that looked yummy. After a few min he walked up to us and asked if we would like to try a couple items, of course we said yes. Oh my goodness, the grilled cheese was very flavorful and cheesey but the apple pie was incredibly delicious. It was awesome with the soft serve on it. I highly recommend this place, vegan or not, I'm gonna call this one " Paso's little hidden Gem " Happy...
