Valentine's Day. We were unable to make a reservation online as it was booked. But, we had been there for a holiday function and were hoping to have available seating due to a cancelled reservation or something. It was pretty packed, already with a wait, and we were told by the pleasant hosts there was available seating at the bar if we were interested. My wife is gluten free and she remembered them making her personal dishes at the holiday function. This visit did not disappoint and has become a favorite for city dining. Jimmy and Matt, our bartender/servers, were awesome. They were hustling. Busy tending to drinks for the rest of the upstairs clientele, but never lost sight of those at the bar and were very congenial. The food was awesome. We started with a chopped salad, which was plated individually and the portobello crab appetizer. My wife had a gluten free pizza with pepperoni and I had the chicken parm. It was served with a side of fettuccine Alfredo which was a nice alternative to this standard marinara pasta. The food was really delicious, and served by a very pleasant wait staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

This place was alright. For a Saturday night it wasn’t as busy as I thought and it has a down stairs and upstairs. The server was nice and honest. Mentioning which dishes were the best. They said the pasta was better than the pizza. Disappointing because I was for sure going to try for the pizza haha but I got the basic penne a la vodka and added chicken. They don’t offer you cheese to top your pasta we had to ask for it, and it was in a shaker like at a pizza restaurant not fresh. Their prices are that of more traditional Italian restaurants so I assumed that meant free bread and free fresh grated cheese but no haha. It’s a 3.5 out of 5 for me but Google doesn’t let me do that. +1 for vegan options for my friend though and for serving a big group . Oh another reason for the ding. My other friend places a to go order and they charged him 20% gratuity for a large group on the to go order. He already gave a 20% tip for the food he was actually being serviced for. So yeah not cool

We visited on Friday 09/15/23 at around 7:30pm. The hostess that sat us was very nice and pleasant. She was great. Our waiter, I think his name was Tom. He had a star tattoo behind his ear. My man was great! The food was delicious. We had the lobster and shrimp ravioli in a white cream sauce. Dessert was slam'n. The reason for my 3 star is that human waste is right outside the door. It looks like the outside hasn't been power washed or cleaned in a while. We sat upstairs, and our chairs had stains. The booth across from our seat, the bottom seat was bust open (you can actually see the booth seat in my first picture). All the booths were light color, they were dingy and very dirty looking. I saw Mickey run across the floor numerous times. It's things like this that make you wonder if restaurants truly care about their customers' perception of the restaurant. We'll return, and hopefully, these issues are resolved.

Where do I even begin! First me and my husband decided to try them out for our 12 year anniversary and wewere seated at a table under a vent that was leaking water on our table and my husband shoes! So they moved us to a better table thank GOD our waitress was very kind and pleasant however I'm not sure if the 2 white guys that was not in restaurant attire were the owners or not but they literally walked pass our table multiple time without speaking to us saying hi asking if we were ok after the leaking situation NOTHING very unprofessional only for them to walk over conversate take photos mingle etc with the other tables that were Caucasian diners while as an African American couple we were highly offended they walked passed us several times and only spoke with the Caucasian ppl not once again after being seated at leaking table did they even bother to ask we were ok did we need anything nothing they even offered the Caucasian diners next to us free dessert etc! Just from speaking with them and to make matters even more upsetting when we were leaving the guy asked myself and my husband to talk out the back doors bc he had locked the front doors of the restaurant as if it was so hard of a task for them to unlock the front door to let us out!!! Highly unprofessional I feel in my heart me and my husband were treated in such a way because we were black I'm upset to have even spent my hard earned BLACK DOLLARS in this establishment especially with the climate that we are in today with such ignorance and racially motivated things going on in this country this place is a big NO NO NO NO NO I'm mad I even have to give them 1 star because they definitely DO NOT deserve it but shout out to our waitress HANNA it's her that made our evening ok and I say that term loosely! I WILL NEVER be returning and I suggest no one else...

We had a TERRIBLE experience at this restaurant. First, I made a reservation to have lunch with my 3 grandchildren and their other Grandmom. We were taking the kids to see Beauty and the Beast, the show, after lunch. The Beauty and the Beast food menu which they offered was $50 per person. That is an outrageous fee for kids. There was another children's menu for $15 which is still a little high for what you get. Super small portions. And of course the kids would want the Beauty and the Beast menu. Anyway, there was a party with very loud music going on in the second floor. It was so noisy the kids hated being in the restaurant. The kids are 5, 7 and 9 years old. I was NOT told when they I made the reservation that there would be a party going on at the same time as our lunch. We couldn't talk or listen to each other or enjoy any part of lunch because of the loud noise and constant loud music. The restaurant texted me numerous times to make sure I confirm my reservation. They should have texted me and given me the choice to have lunch with a party going on at the same time. They were only worried about me confirming my reservation. To make matters worse, the manager was VERY FRESH and said he would not cancel the party upstairs as it was $10,000. I didn't ask him to cancel the party. I asked him to take care of our check as we did not enjoy any part of our lunch. He refused to do anything! I told him I was NEVER coming back there and he said he would prefer it if I didn't. Believe me I’m not. I will NEVER go back there! They raised their prices and are expensive and do not give you enough for what they charge. The food is only average. Nothing special. Very pricey. It is not kid friendly!!!! Actually it is not people...

My complaint is not with our food or waitress. Even though it was close to closing and weren’t offered desert or coffee. But I asked for a slice of cake because we were celebrating my granddaughter’s 21st birthday! Which is a big thing! But we sang and took the cake home. My problem was with either the owner or Manager not sure who he was. After dinner we had popper and surprise my granddaughter with the streamers! NOT CONFETTI!. The streamers were large and the wind blew them away from the restaurant immediately. But someone was coming out of the restaurant and a few blew in the hallway NOT THE RESTAURANT. He was so ticked off. We went into the hallway to clean them up and he rudely said leave it alone. Then my daughter -in-law was standing in front of this black door not realizing while we waited for Uber. It was an exit door he came out of and knocked her over and gave no apology. Yes, he couldn’t see she was standing there but he felt the hit! Her husband said you could apologize for hitting my wife with the door and he arrogantly said I didn’t see her??? And stated he had to clean up our mess? Which he didn’t a staff did and we offered to help. We just spent over 400.00 in there and he quoted we made his car payment this month. If this is the owner or manager and this is how he treats his customers why would anyone go back! Oh then he flagged us for ever going back (like we would) Our nice celebration was ruined for a few streamers! Oh and he called us drunk and we weren’t! We are a normal family trying to celebrate a beautiful occasion and to be ruined by steamers! So, not going there no more because we were...
