I was really excited to see that Top Tomato had a vegan menu on its website. And I do commend them for having vegan options. However, I was disappointed. I ordered pick up and the lady on the phone was unfortunately very incompetent. She seemed nice, but I had to repeat my order 5 times for her to get it, and she seemed to have no familiarity with the menu. She also didn't understand the question "can I pay for the order at the store?" She had to ask for help from co workers twice. We ordered a vegan veggie delight pizza. It's 17.99 for a personal size on the website menu, which is already pricey. However, they actually billed me for a vegetarian delight pizza with sub vegan cheese, so it was 15.99 + 4 = 19.99. A 4 dollar surcharge for vegan cheese is ludicrous and 19.99 for a personal veggie pizza is insane. Also, crust was very sad. I even said multiple times that I wanted a normal crust, NOT gf/cauliflower which the lady on the phone wanted to get. And this was also reflected on the receipt. But the crust was so thin and orange. Nothing like their usual crust. I'm certain they gave me a gf crust accidentally. If this is their vegan crust, it's shockingly bad. Pizza crust is already vegan so I'm not sure why it was a cracker with no leavening. The toppings were quite good though. The vegan chicken sandwich was simultaneously dry and soggy. Only sauce was mustard, when ketchup and vegan mayo would be an easy fix. The patty itself was good, but a breadcrumb coating. The bread was soggy from pickle juice - an easy fix would be lettuce between pickles and bread. Good potential, probably good intent, but subpar service and poor execution. But these are easy things to rectify!

Hidden Gem for a Killer Philly Cheesesteak – Top Tomato Bar Tucked away in the heart of the city, Top Tomato Bar is an absolute hidden gem—especially if you’re hunting for the perfect Philly cheesesteak. From the very first bite, I knew I found something special. The ribeye was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Add in that smooth, melty Cooper sharp cheese, and it’s game over. It practically melts in your mouth and leaves you wanting more. The grilled onions gave it the right touch of sweetness, and the toasted roll held it all together like a true classic. But it doesn’t stop there. I also tried a slice of the Buffalo pizza and Sam’s Special—both were top-tier. Crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and that perfect balance of cheese and sauce. Pizza lovers won’t be disappointed. The service? Outstanding. Friendly, quick, and welcoming. You can tell this place has regulars—and for good reason. There’s even an upstairs space, which I can only imagine gets packed and rowdy in the best way on game days. I’ll absolutely be back—especially for that cheesesteak. Philly, take note: Top Tomato Bar is the real deal

I give up. This used to be my go to place to order from. Now this is the 3rd time recently that my order was wrong. In today's instance, I ordered my usual pizza with cheese and sausage. Instead I got a tomato pie. You can clearly see on my receipt that I ordered extra cheese and sausage. I called to get it fixed , and the phone rang forever and then disconnected. I called again and the person on the phone blamed the delivery driver, and told me to call them. The driver didn't make the pizza, Top Tomato did. I don't know what happened to this place, but it has sunk faster than the Titanic. Very horrible customer service all the way around. The worst part is the restaurant did absolutely nothing to fix this, or make it right. If ANY attempt was made to help, I wouldn't have written a review. If this wasn't a repeat experience I wouldn't have written a review. I have praised this place in the past, but no more.

This place is an absolute joke. I was here for New Year’s Eve for about an hour. I was standing at the top of the steps by the sign that has their name on it but to the right enough that I was in the way of absolutely nothing. Not in the way of guest, bartenders, security. Absolutely no one. If someone wanted to take a picture there was enough room that I wasn’t in the way of that ether. I am also extremely considerate and would’ve moved if I was but I was not. Some man with a scarf ( it’s 50 degrees tonight why do you need a scarf?) said I needed to move. He didn’t ask politely. He said you need to move. So I questioned it. I am out of the way of everything. Not bothering a soul. My friends are having a good time. I have no illegal things in my pockets and I’ve had one drink. Just one. I don’t like being in the middle of everyone. I find a place to stand and watch and enjoy myself. Ultimately I moved. I found a different spot. Where girls were standing on the window sill and doing wild things. Again minding my business and here comes security kicking me out. I told the security guard what happen and he said “that guy is always on a power trip” And he claims he told me to leave earlier in the evening but I was only in the business for an hour before being told to leave. I’m not sure who the man is with the very very receding hair line but I hope he never needs service in the fine dining establishment I work at because it’ll never happen. Disgusting of the business. There were many other activities going on in there that could’ve been removable behaviors. Me standing against a wall, sober as can be was...

Went there for lunch with my Daughter, Jennifer the bar waitress never came to the table we were seated at. We waited 10 minutes before my daughter went to the bar to I form the waitress we were waiting for her while she laughed and chatted with other bar patrons. When she finally came to our table so we can place our order, she came with a nasty attitude as if we were asking g for too much. I lost my appetite to eat there I ordered a Guinness Draft and my daughter placed her order for a chicken wrap and a Corona. Jennifer came back 5 minutes later with the Corona, and after waiting 8 minutes after that I still didn't have the Guinness Draft I ordered. I look over towards the bar and I see that Jennifer the waitress has placed my glass of Guinness u Der the Guinness spout and just let the lager run into the glass causing a significant amount of head on the lager ha ing to wait more time to allow the head to diminish. When my Daughter asked her to tilt the glass to keep it from accumulating head on the beer so that I didnt have to wait any longer for my lager, Jennifer grew upset. And said I would just have to wait another 5 minutes. 12 minutes had already passed without me having the Guinness I ordered. So needless to say I canceled the Guinness. The atmosphere and decor was absolutely fantastic. But Jennifer the waitress was horrible. She need a lesson in courtesy and customer service, or work someplace where neither of those services is offered. I will never visit this ever...
