UPDATE: I received a response from Gold Nugget on this review. However, I noticed that it was the same generic response they send to number of people with unpleasant experiences. This communicates to me that they do not care about the experience I had. I hope no one goes through what I went through.

I worked with Marian. She was rude, wasted my time, did not listen, and provided poor customer service. Marian told me via email/over the phone she had a lot of what I liked and would work with our budget. I was looking for an octogon/hexagon halo with an art nouveau flair and tiny diamonds. When I came in she did not have anything prepared. She had me look at rings that were not what I described. In that time she criticized our budget and the style I like. I said I wish you had sent me the options before I came in. She told me that would have been 100s of rings and I responded she only showed me a few of correct style. Then Marian went to show me a diamond. It was very poor quality, I could see a ton of black carbon spots. I said that isn't the quality I described when we spoke previously and she told me it was. Marian mentioned that they could do a custom ring and I asked for information for that. She instead tried to show me the same rings I already said I did not like. Marian had the owner come over to discuss custom rings. He seemed nice and put me at ease. I told him about how Marian conducted herself and the rude comments she made. When I went to leave she said she would reach out to me in a couple days. I turned to the owner of company I want to work with someone else moving forward and he said that was fine. Then a few days later I received and e-mail from Marian. I called in to talk to the owner of company and complain that she emailed me. The owner said oh she did? Well she already has your contact information so I thought it would be a good idea. I've gone to numerous jewlery stores in my search for an engagement ring and I would highly recommend avoiding this one. If you do go in, definitely do not interact with Marian. She embodies the worse qualities of customer service and will try to bully you into a product you do not want. Very...

When you go to a jewelry store you expect to get what you paid for. right? My step dad purchased a Cartier diamond love bracelet for my mom for their wedding anniversary. From the very second we got the bracelet there were red flags. The bracelet it self was handed to my mom in a plastic bag, no paper work, no box... nothing. "The real deal Cartier" we were told. We didn't think anything of it at the time because when you buy jewelry you expect it to be real. That was not the case when we brought it to Cartier after having an uneasy feeling after the employee Gil told us "whatever you do, do not bring it to Cartier." and they laughed when we said that we were told it was real. After then getting caught in his lies Gil the employee begged for forgiveness and then had the nerve to send my mom flowers saying "Please accept my apology." Not a chance. No apology or flowers can take back the anxiety and stress that Golden nugget put my family through. Golden nugget ruined the anniversary of my mom and stepdad which was supposed to be a happy thing, which led into anxiety and tears. We werent going to let this go unsaid, so my mom and my sister and I went to the store and called the employee out for his lies and he then decides to call us the crazy ones and say that he said the bracelet was "a like Cartier bracelet", we have in writing him saying that they bracelet is real. My significant other and I went to look for a diamond cut rope chain, and we we’re going to look around but we stopped into Golden Nugget jeweler’s 1st and Myles was awesome this was in dec 2023 but we went back July 2023 to upgrade to a 14 k chain also got a tennis bracelet lucky me . , Myles treated us like family, and even after almost 7 months he remembered us and again we left very happy with our purchase and the service was excellent. So of course when going to get a diamond ring our choice was to go right to Golden nugget, of course we asked for Myles , whom happened to be off this particular day. However what are the chances that we happened to be greeted by none other than his beautiful and kind and very knowledgeable Mom , and she helped me pick out the band and found us a gorgeous diamond which we had set . I honestly felt like royalty , this was my first time getting a ring that was made for myself and not just in display. Needless to say we will be lifelong customers . Regardless of how much or little you spend the service will be amazing. They treat all their customers like family , I feel very blessed to have had the pleasure of being helped by both Myles and then Ms Fatima and I must say not only do I feel I got more than I could have dreamed of at a price that didn’t put my sweetheart in debt , I would recommend this establishment to everyone .
