Food:

California Benny – Fresh, high-quality ingredients. – The hollandaise was tasty but could’ve used a bit more. – Loved the addition of arugula as the green—it elevated the dish. – Crispy bacon and avocado combo never fails! – My friend Emilia loved this for its freshness, but I found it a bit standard.

De Olde Taco – The shaved rib eye was perfection—flavorful and tender. – Every ingredient complemented each other beautifully. – Spicy chipotle ketchup and pickled onions were standout toppings. – This was my favorite dish—an absolute must-order!

Berry Cheesecake French Toast – Insanely thick and fluffy French toast—challah bread for the win! – The berry cheesecake toppings were well-balanced and not too overpowering. – A delightful sweet treat to share or enjoy solo.

Angry Pig Omelette – Insanely cheesy with a satisfying cheese pull! – Smoked ham and spicy maple pork sausage were flavorful and had a nice kick. – Chipotle aioli was the ideal sauce to pair with this omelette. – Crispy, flavorful breakfast potatoes sealed the deal. – Highly recommend this dish!

Brekkie Bánh Mì – A fresh and creative take on the classic bánh mì. – The spicy maple pork sausage was a perfect mix of sweet, savory, and smoky—so good! – Could’ve used a bit more punch in flavor overall.

Drinks:

Tropical Bliss Smoothie – Refreshing with prominent pineapple and orange flavors. – Reminded me of being on a beach—simple but satisfying.

Hot Brown Sugar Latte with Almond Milk – The brown sugar flavor was enjoyable. – A standard latte, but I wish it had been a bit larger. – It would be nice if they offered skim milk.

I was so excited to be invited to brunch here and brought my friend Emilia along to try their extensive menu. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we had such a great time exploring the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the variety was impressive! Their coffee, sourced from Vibrant Coffee Roastery, was decent, but I’m definitely coming back to try more dishes—especially the pancakes! If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by.

Food quality-wise, the place is just fine. No real complaints. The pink stuff between the French toast, I didn't get along with, but texture things like that are a me issue, not food issue. Not gonna penalize that. The place, uncomfortable seating aside, the atmosphere is fun and quirky. I particularly liked the fun yellow cups, plates, everything. Good stuff. So, why the lack of bonus points? The server. The woman at the takeaway counter greeted me as "ma'am" accurately. Something that I didn't expect, since my travel clothes of jeans and t-shirt. The server, I corrected three times (when I asked for more time, when I ordered my food, and when my food was brought) and still referred to me as "sir". And after me correcting them a third time, just stopped speaking or approaching me at all. In fact, after I finished eating, I watched a 24:36 long video on rail signals while I waited on the bill and still nothing. He did approach the only other person left in the place to bring them their bill, who came in some time after me. So, after some time, I gave up, eyeballed thr cost and tax, included a reasonable tip, and left. I don't mind people making mistakes, but one would think the exchange of, "...sir." "I prefer ma'am, thanks." wouldn't be THAT difficult...

First time at Eggcellent cafe and it was not a good start. Before I take my brother to work he wanted to get something to eat. So he decided Eggcellent cafe like 15 minutes drive from where we at. When I walked into that place it was not big but very nice inside with plants in the wall. Just very cute. We ordered 4 breakfast burgers. Give the cashier the name. we sat down like 15 minutes then asked the cashier is the order ready yet? He checked and asked our name again and looked around and asked the kitchen and replied no not yet. So we waited another 15 minutes and asked again. This time he told me the kitchen didn’t get our orders and asked us to wait longer. I was like so mad how can you missed the order when I asked the first time???? Totally doesn’t communicate well with the kitchen staffs. He asked do I want a refund back of course no I have waited more than half an hour and leave with nothing. This was ridiculous. I ended waiting a little longer and got the order and ate it in the car. It was a okay burger not like great. Would not...
