Really sorry to give a bad review

This is the first time I’ve ever been disappointed by Gong Cha. I’ve frequented the Gong Cha in Flushing, NY multiple times and the quality always had me swooning.

Got the Milk Foam Green Tea drink (medium, less ice, 50% sweet), which is on their Top 10 list, but wow I haven’t been this let down by a drink in a while. The tea had no fragrance with it at all. Despite asking for 50% sweet, I didn’t taste any sweetness. It was very close to being just like plain water.

The milk foam was creamy and salty, but that was it. Maybe it would pair nicely with a very sweet drink or maybe I prefer sweeter, more flavorful milk foams.

But for a drink that cost nearly $6, standards are high and this drink did not do well at all. You can’t get by just on brand; high quality has to be consistently upheld.

Hoping my experience was just a fluke. Definitely willing to update review should I give this place another try. I expect better...

Calling all bubble tea friendos! Gong Cha has done it again and finally reopened back up in Philadelphia. If you’re looking for authentic tea, this place has it. They have the traditional selections of milk tea and various combinations and also a fruity “creative” selection. This location has friendly staff and can be busy depending on the time of day you go. My wait time was a little longer since the person in front of me had a large order. Pricing seems slightly higher than other gong Cha locations I’ve been to but the price also depends on the drink and toppings you order. This Gong Cha is sooo trash...I ordered a wintermelon milk tea and they made a wintermelon tea without the milk and when I asked the staff to correct my they just poured out half the wintermelon tea out and added the milk when they really should've remade the drink entirely. The drink ended up being tastless and bland thats like trying to fix wet rice...it can't be fixed you just gotta remake the rice!!! If that wasn't bad enough they also forgot my taro milk tea and when I got it...it also had no flavor...
