My husband and I came here for lunch for the 1st time. The cashier (woman with dark brown/black hair) seemed annoyed and wasn’t very friendly. She didn’t acknowledge us upon entering the restaurant...there wasn’t anybody in front of us so it wasn’t that she was busy with another customer. I told her twice that it was our first time here and she didn’t offer any assistance or explain the menu/sandwich sizes to us. On the menu it only says small or regular but doesn’t say how large they are. When paying for our order it seemed to high for what we got. So we asked why it was more than expected and the cashier just rolled her eyes and said ”cause that’s how much your order cost.” So my husband and I asked her what she charged us for. It turned out that she charged us for a combo, that we didn’t ask for (this is an additional $3.99 charge). She had to void our credit card transaction and recharge us. She seemed very annoyed that she had to do so and gave us attitude about having to do this...she even made a comment that we should have told her that we didn’t want the combo, so I told her a 3rd time that it was our 1st time here and we didn’t know that we had to specify that we didn’t want the combo. It was rude and put a sour taste in my mouth before we even got our food. So then I go sit in the lobby to wait for our food and I start looking around and there is thick dust all over the lamps, cameras, flags and ceilings, which made the restaurant seem dirtier than it probably is.... So back to our food; He ordered a Regular Little Joey’s Philly cheesesteak for $9.99. He added Green peppers, Spinach and mushrooms, which were .75 cents each so his sandwich came out to $12.24. I got the special, which was 2 cheese slices of pizza and a drink for $5.99. I was able paid an extra .50 cents per piece to add pepperoni so my special came out to $6.99. With tax it came to $19.01. The pizza was very good. It is a thin crust pizza and the sauce had a nice flavor. 2 slices was too much for me to eat and I had 1 left over for later. I would definitely try it again. My husband’s sandwich was ok. It turned out to be huge, he said he would have been good with just 1/2 of the sandwich but if he was really hungry he would have been able to finish it all. Unfortunately the meat didn’t have much flavor. It didn’t taste as if it had any seasoning on the meat and all you could mainly taste was the veggies that he added. He ate it but didn’t really like it so I don’t think we’ll be ordering a cheesesteak...
Read moreWelp let me say this the pizza is actually very good. It’s like New York type pizza. Long skinny slices with a little bit of grease on the plate after you pick it up but that’s not the issue. The issue was the alleged Philly cheese steaks my girlfriend and I got two cheesesteaks today. They were the 6 inch cheese steaks that cost $9.99, The combo came to $14.99 which includes a couple of fries and a drink. The problem is the cheese steaks appear to be on a diet, they have the equivalent meat of probably a slice and a half of roast beef on it with very little cheese, probably equivalent of a half a slice of cheese on a very doughy non or extremely slightly toasted bun. I’m not from the Philadelphia area BUT my girlfriend is and she gives these sandwiches a seriously major thumbs 👎🏾 down !! Staff was friendly place was overall clean but the cheese steaks - let’s put it this way if they dared serve those cheesesteaks in Philadelphia, they would be run outta town on a rail. Seriously Google a pic of a Philly cheesesteak see how meaty how the meat is bulging in the sandwich so it fills up the inner part of the bread and then compare to the pictures I took today at Corleones place in Phoenix and this sandwich is not half the sandwich that it should be. I will not be buying any more cheesesteaks and not recommending any cheesesteaks from this facility For now and in the future. BTW for 2 cheese steak combos and 12 wings it came to $48 and yes, I realize inflation is running rampant all over but for the skimpy amount of meat on these sandwiches and the few fries that were given come guys french fries guys a good handful would’ve been nice - but for that price of $48 this was definitely not worth it and that’s...
