WOW! I haven’t had a cafe experience this pleasant in so long. Everything was lovely. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and given excellent menu recommendations, and the customer service was consistently good the whole time. I watched the people behind the counter offer to hold doors open for people and greet returning customers with sincere friendliness. The space itself is beautiful; the furniture is tasteful, comfortable, and really showcases the woodworking the shop was originally meant to highlight. I had a great time sipping my drink on a comfortable chair under lovely warm accent lighting as the sunlight shined through the windows.
We ordered the vanilla rosemary latte, a strawberry matcha drink, avocado toast, and the savory crepe. Although it was expensive (a little under $50 for two drinks and two entrees) we definitely got what we paid for. We ordered the rosemary vanilla latte based on their recommendation and… wow. The rosemary flavor was so perfectly complimentary to the vanilla latte that I was shocked. The strawberry matcha drink on their specialty menu was a solid choice and I took home what I couldn’t finish. I don’t even know where to start on the food! It looked and tasted like it was made by somebody that was really looking forward to eating it themselves.
I couldn’t personally afford to be a regular here but if I could, this would definitely be my regular...

I appreciate places that want to please their customers and this is one of them. GO and enjoy! Such a cute place with delicious options. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which you wouldn’t always expect from a place with such a hip coffee shop vibe. Not pretentious at all! I tried the Brown Sugar with Sage latte and Avocado Toast. The coffee was good although I didn’t really taste as much sweetness as I had hoped for. The avocado toast was fabulous, great flavor and delicious bread. I do feel it was a little heavy on the avocado but I’d rather have that than not enough. The pickled onions and tomatoes were fresh and flavorful. Great ambiance and music showing the Spotify playlist on this cool board on the wall! I look forward to going back. Even though they were busy they took care of guests in a timely manner and explained/apologized...
Read moreThere seems to be a new barista every other week, which makes you wonder why this shop has such a hard time keeping staff. They used to have a wonderful team that prioritized quality and hospitality, but those familiar faces are gone. No joke—I’ve seen maybe 5 or 6 total crew turnovers since. I’ve been coming here multiple times a week for over a year, and no one even acknowledges me anymore.
The coffee is inconsistent—likely because someone new is always in training—and the housemade syrups vary in strength from day to day. The burritos were the same: hit-or-miss depending on who was in the kitchen, and usually sold out before 10 a.m.
For the price, I wish they valued loyal customers more. Moxie is right across the street charging the same prices, same tier coffee, but their baristas have been there for years, they offer Mark Chacónne pastries, and they make regulars feel seen.
For the price point, I just wish they’d get the fundamentals right—consistency and...
