This is my second time at the salon. My first time was a great experience, and I thought yippie I found a new nail salon.! The tech who did my pedicure last time was absolutely excellent -- checking that I was happy, and that she had removed callouses etc. My fault for not recalling the names of the people who had done my nails last time, but both of those women were great. This time the woman who did my dip was completely distracted, jabbering away, not watching what she was doing, over-filing a couple of my nails. She was just completely disregarding any attention to detail -- there is still material under my nails that I pointed out to her a few times and also pointed out some other cuticle issues which she did not address. My pedicure was pretty good with the only man in the salon, although was a little rough, (and I said ouch more than a few times.) From what I could tell, I think that Kelly is very good but I would avoid a couple of the others. Too bad I won’t be back it’s a really pretty salon there is zero customer service and after spending over $100 there today for a pretty good but not really good job. I’m very disappointed , Lastly, last time I was there, the owner was there, and she was also jabbering away with everyone and even when I said it was my first time there, she sort of shrugged and had zero customer service. She is clearly not setting standards for her salon, which has a great deal...
Read moreEverything was OK til I was sat down. The lady was sweet til she also wasn't. she had asked what I wanted and I told her red French tips acrylic nails and a little Diamond on the ring finger. it was okay, going fine but she didn't even let me pick the size she said in the picture it's long and just kept going and as someone who went there before I've seen this as disrespectful because they always would take in ur consideration. anyways she starts buffing them she was really rough and took more than 2 hours with setting the acrylic powder. Some nails are uneven and too thin and thick. The nail paint wasn't even it was really sloppy and even the acrylic power she had placed on my nail didn't match my skin tone wayy too pink. it felt she wasn't trying and it was more of a chore to her. and it made the vibes off and honestly when I got home it was so bad I didn't even wanna try and get them fixed by someone else so I tried fixing it my own damn self. it was jus too bad I had to just cut them off n get them removed the next day. it's was 85 dollars. honestly wouldn't come back here, im more upset over the time i wasted than the whole overall and money . Time is something no one could ever get back. don't come here if u actually want ur nails to look good asf but if u do want the cheap looking press ons, this place is...
Read moreI don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel like others should know. I came in for a fill and asked for my nails to be a little shorter and not as thick so I could type more comfortably. I started with a woman who then passed me over to a man, saying he was very good.
Unfortunately, it was the most painful and frustrating nail appointment I’ve ever had. Instead of just reshaping the tip, he kept aggressively filing down the sides of my nails until the skin around them felt raw. I politely let him know it hurt but he kept going back to it with the file instead of the drill. The final result was uneven, overly narrow nails with an awkward shape.
The polish is messy, doesn't reach the tips on two nails and has bumps, and while he tried to clean it up with acetone and a drill, by that point my fingers were too sore from being overworked. I told him it was okay just to stop because it was painful. I still paid $45 and left, but I’m really disappointed.
My nails are now too sensitive to fix right away, and I shouldn’t have to get them fixed in the first place. This wasn’t just an off day — it was careless work. I won’t...
