Iâve been to 4 classes at this studio and enjoyed them very much so I invited my 20 something sons to come with me. We went to an early morning class together. Success ! They liked it ! However I left class without the usual lightness and thatâs because of how I was treated. The teacher that morning was difficult, her attitude started while signing my boys into class and didnât end till we left. Let me explain: first off she wasnât pleased that we didnât sign in on line, secondly ; it was 10 minutes before class was over I was feeling faint so I decided to leave the hot room I gathered my things during the closing series thinking i wouldnât disturb savasana.but the teacher was put out with that so she told me not to leave , so to keep from causing a scene in front of my sons I stayed. Shortly it was time for savasana,, to keep from throwing up I took a seated position instead of taking the traditional posture of laying on your back, and she scolded me again. It was at this point I realized this teacher is not understanding whatâs happening here, so after class I thought I should explain that I wasnât disrespecting her class but I was leaving because I was sick. She made zero attempt to hear me so I quietly left the studio scratching my head confused and feeling like I was in 5th grade again. I mean when youâre sick youâre sick. This story was worth mentioning but overall I believe this studio is a...
Read moreIâve gone here many many times for the past 5 or so years and have loved it â but I wonât be coming back. Erin is usually the ânicerâ of the instructors so went to her class today.
My two friends and I were told to be quiet at the beginning which is totally fine and fair. However, for the remainder of the 75 minutes we were told to âshushâ and ânow remember donât talk to your friendsâ in a very patronizing way every 10 minutes â despite never talking again since the beginning of class. Okay, fine. But then at the end of class in the lobby she (Erin) very loudly said âugh I swear itâs like teaching kindergartens in there sometimes!â â completely directed at my two friends and I â again, despite the fact we did not talk since the very beginning of class. How, please tell me, is that comparable to kindergarten? It would have been a different story if we continued to talk and didnât listen â but we did. This felt completely uncalled for and rude, and incredibly patronizing. Will not be...
Read moreIâve visited many yoga studios across the country because i travel for work, and I wanted to share my experience at this studio. Unfortunately, I found the atmosphere to be unfriendly. I didnât feel like I was part of the community during my visit. It was a bit of a cliquish community.
One aspect that stood out was when the instructor, who didnât know my name, asked how I enjoyed the class. While this is a nice gesture, I believe it reflects a lack of personal connection. Additionally, charging $34 for a first-time visit feels a bit steep, especially without a welcoming experience.
I think there are many opportunities to create lasting impressions on new clients. Every visitor could become a long-term customer or refer others to the studio if they feel...
