WOW!!! I am literally shaking right now. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. This is the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had and I hope no one else ever has to experience anything like this.
I walked into Town and Country Nekter to grab a quick smoothie in between appointments. I had a very busy day and I hadn’t eaten anything yet and it was around 1:20 pm. I ordered a smoothie and protein balls. I went to the restroom, ate my protein balls and after almost 10 minutes of waiting, I asked if they were making my smoothie. There were four employees and zero customers waiting. The manager, I don’t recall his name. He has a bunch of tattoos, and the big stretched out earrings came over and started yelling at me saying “I am trying to train an employee on smoothies. You can have a refund and leave my store” he said “you are never welcome back at my store again and if you don’t leave now, I am calling the authorities” what???? all because I asked if they were making my smoothie?
Whoever the owner is, I hope you see this and know how your manager treated a loyal customer. He scared me and really upset me. There was a way he couldn’t handle the situation a lot better!!! He could’ve calmly just told me that this smoothie would be right out that he was training someone and thank me for my patience. Instead, he refused to give me my smoothie threatened to call the police and told me to never come back again. I think he is unstable should not be working with customers if this is how he is going to act and treat people.
I am still in shock! I was been in the service industry for 15 years and my mother-in-law owns several restaurants that I also have worked at. I know that when training someone, customers do have to be more patient, that is why typically you give you a heads up and let you know that they are training and that it will take a little bit longer. I think waiting 10 minutes for a smoothie when there is no one in the store and the manager yelling at me when I asked about my smoothie and refusing to make my smoothie and telling to leave is unacceptable!!!! While I was waiting, I could hear him talking to his trainee and he wasn’t even talking about how to make a smoothie he was going on and on about other things making jokes, laughing, and that is why I got a little impatient and asked about my smoothie. I couldn’t understand why it was taking so long and they did not seem to care that I was standing there waiting.
I love Nektar and am a loyal customer that goes to locations all over the valley. I will never return to this location again unless there is a new manager. I don’t feel safe going there. I been coming here to purchase good smoothies and a quick breakfast for work never had an employee this unhelpful and rude ever at this location. I made an order through the app and even checked uber eats . I got my fav smoothie with extra cost of pb and sizing since its too good. unfortunately it has banana which I'm allergic to. I always ordered in store and never had a problem modifying, I noticed on uber eats and the nekter app you can't remove fruits on the strawberry banana protein which sucks but since costumer service is supposed to be amazing to loyal costumers I quickly ordered my drink and called this location. no one answered the 1st time so I called again, I understand if it was busy. I ordered at 9:52am and called at 9:53am and again at 9:54am and someone answered. a man with a feminine voice. I told him that I had made an order on a 3rd party app and I couldn't remove bananas and if he can not add them since I'm allergic. even if he couldn't I understand that. he told me that unfortunately he can't remove them since the items were already made which I don't understand when I put my ordered a second ago and made sure to called quickly to not add any problems . I also told him how i couldn't remove the fruit and he clearly didn't understand since he told me to download the app to make modifications . I told him I'm sorry to say this but in the app you can't do that sadly which its not his fault tbh but he seem to take it the wrong way since he had a hostile voice towards me and said well if you want to contact costumer support then it will help me too and I said okay, can I cancel my order with you then? and he said to contact costumer support '"Liliana" , I was kind of in shocked that I didn't know what to say and said okay then he hung up. I went on the app to see if I can cancel it and it says to call the store number. I called again no answer then I called again still nothing. my order came to me and the receipt said no bananas . this is so upsetting because why did you have to make it more than what it seemed and why did you have to be so rude about it. Hello, I wanted to write this email to provide some feedback on an order I picked up today from the location on 20th St. in Camelback in Phoenix, Arizona. At this point nekter has completely stopped responding to any of my emails for customer service purposes so I don’t expect a response on this either because you guys clearly don’t care about the quality of work coming out of your stores.
And at this point you may ask why I keep coming back— and transparently if there was a better option nearby, I wouldn’t be coming back.
Today I did an order through your app for a banana berry açai bowl split with some additional toppings that I paid for on top of what already comes on the banana berry bowl.
Much to my surprise I get home and realize there are no bananas. There are no strawberries. There are no blueberries on top of this bowl. I only got gluten-free granola, raspberry bits and peanut butter, which is all of the extra toppings I paid for.
It seems like your staff doesn’t fully read the order tickets when they come through and they just guess or think they know what the person got. I know I’m not the only customer that experiences this based on all of the reviews that mention the same issues so you probably should care about the quality of what’s coming out of your stores especially when you’re charging $20 for a banana berry açai bowl split into two when I didn’t get half the ingredients.
Overall, it’s just really frustrating because I want to eat healthy. There aren’t a ton of options which is why I continue to go to nekter and you have a decent rewards program. It’s sad that I have to check every single order that I received from one of your store stores because that should be done by somebody that’s employed by nekter.
