I really wish I could write a good review about the Plano Location. Unfortunately, I can't. Their service is awful and their staff is extremely rude. Here is my experience: I was meeting my dad and brother for lunch yesterday and we showed up just before 11am. This location does not open until 11am so their doors were still locked. Well, 11am rolled around and there were 7 of us standing outside waiting for the store to open and no staff opened the door. At 11:05am my dad started knocking on the door and an employee (possibly a manager; her name was Amelia) looked at us from inside, visibly rolled her eyes and slowly walked to the door. When she got to the door to unlock it, she flipped the lock to unlock it and turned and walked away. She didn't even bother to open the door for the people waiting outside or make any comment stating that she was sorry they opened late. Terrible first impression, but it only gets worse. When we were in the salad line the menu clearly says "Unlimited Selection of Veggies, fruits, nuts and cheeses..." Though, I think the staff failed to read that section. When I asked for the Amelia if she would put another spoon of egg onto my salad, she rolled her eyes at me, sighed and then proceeded to dip the edge of the spoon into the eggs to pull out the smallest sliver of egg and then she put that one tiny piece of egg in my salad. She did the same thing when I asked for a couple of other additional toppings. She was extremely rude. Then she had the gall to tell a young woman to get out of line (she was ordering soup) because it would confuse her staff when making other peoples salads...I cannot believe how rudely she spoke to the lady. I'm very glad that she responded back to the rude Amelia employee that there was not a "soup" line and that she was going to stay exactly where she was! Lastly, my salad came out to $14 (no drink, no extras). $14 is extremely expensive for a salad. I will not be back to this location (I will go back to the Addison location as the staff is very friendly) and I suggest that you pick another salad place...
Read moreWhen we entered the place and walked up to the woman at the end she did not greet us at all and proceeded to ask what salad we wanted. It was very clear from the get go that she did not speak English that well. As a non native English, I understand the difficulty of trying to communicate, however that is not a sufficient enough reason to put items we did not ask for in the salad and listen to what we were wanting by pointing. They had put very little avocado in our bowls and even tossed the skin of the avocado into out salad. This got to the point where the manager ( or whoever the lead was ) that spoke English stepped in and tried to translate what we wanted, but even they did not completely listen when we had asked for tortilla chips initially. They acted surprised when we reminded them. This use to be a very good place to go to but lately the service has not been up to par with it has been. This review is not meant to be rude, But to provide criticism based on our experience. I understand that things have happened and changes have been made out of necessity, however we will not...
Read moreI never got the two gentleman’s names but who ever worked on Thursday Feb 1st from about 4-5p were friendly, respectful, and courteous. Really displayed great customer service. I came in with my mom and infant who was asleep and one gentleman turned down the music very low, which I thought was very kind, allowed for us to eat in peace. While we were eating this man came in and started complaining to the gentleman about the street signing being different than the sign indoors and how they need to change it because he didn’t now that it was Salata. That was it. That was his whole point! The gentleman handled that man very well with respect and was sympathetic to him. I was impressed, personally I thought it was a joke, looked around and nope, he was genuinely upset lol.
Also the place was very clean and crisp,...
