Recovery Sports Grill — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

I went to this restaurant for dinner since my wife had another engagement with some of her friends. I also was told last time I was there (it was not great) that I had reward dollars to use.

I ordered the Ruben (it was a St. Patrick special) and it was extremely thin and truly I would of been embarrassed to serve it. ALSO, it did not come with any sides; I ordered French Fries and was surprised it was $6.00 for Fries which were Luke warm. It is unusual for me to send something back however the sandwich was so thin with hardly any corn beef, when the waitress asked if it was okay I told her the issue; she looked at it and agreed.

She then took the sandwich into the kitchen and returned a few minutes later (while my fries were getting colder) telling me the manger said it is 4 oz of meat...so no returning it unless I wanted something different that would take another 20 to 25 minutes. I kept the sandwich although it was extremely thin and greasy.

I then got the bill and it was almost double what the email I received said but they did adjust it after waiting almost 10 minutes for a simple adjustment.

Then they told me I did not have any points yet the last time I was there I was asked to use my points but did not; at that time they told me I could use it the next time (this time) YET I could not use them.

So...they tried to over charge me, the also over charged for Luke warm fries at $6.00 for the order, the sandwich was terrible AND I did not get to use my points (I should of used them the last time).

I am not one to look for discounts but do not over charge me and do not tell me something that is not true.

Bathrooms were dirty, the table was sticky and the place was average for cleanliness. The only thing good was the service; the server Kelsey, was very nice and on top of things!

The manager did not budge on anything and I double I will return!

Update: Ok I rated this place a 2 star last night and my wife sent an email through their website about their strange policy in regards to happy hour. She already received a response from the manager of this location with an explanation that they would be extending the happy hour "bar eats" menu to the surrounding bar area when the bar seating is full. He also kindly invited us back. Like I said before our first trip was great and to see that they listened to us and responded so quickly is really impressive. Looking forward to going back and not having to worry about seating. Thanks!

If had rated this place last time we went I would give it a 4 or 5 stars. Great happy hour menu at bar. First time we came for happy hour we were told it is only at the bar, literally "at the bar" the hightops surrounding the bar in the bar area do not qualify. Thought that was a strange comment and probably incorrect because what place does that?? We sat at the bar and although it was busy on a Wednesday night, got good service on food and drinks from the female bartender. Fast forward to 30 minutes ago....we drove 20 miles from our home to come back again for happy hour. Got there and bar is full. Sat at high top 6 feet from bar and waitress came over and asked if we were there for food, we said yes we were there for happy hour. She said happy hour does not apply to the high tops and only applies to sitting directly at the bar (again we are in the bar area). We said thanks and left. We were planning to make this place a Wednesday night thing for happy hour but now will go to our other options because there is no way to know if you will get a seat and "qualify" for happy hour. Party of 2 visited on sat, March 26, 2022. We sat outside next to the lake. That and the foosball tables were the best part of the experience. We ordered their superior mojito and purple rain drinks. The mojito was lackluster. The mint was wilting and brown already. We had to remind the waitress to even bring us the mojito. It came after our food arrived. The purple rain was right on though. We ordered one dish, chicken tenders and sub the regular fries with sweet potato fries. When the order came it was not correct. I had to remind her it should be sweet potato fries. The place was not super busy so I was off put that she couldn’t even get that one order for one table right. I ordered the spicy garlic sauce for the tenders on the side. Spicy garlic was a joke. They took buffalo sauce and added garlic to it. Not spicy at all. Not appetizing at all. Not original at all. Anybody can add garlic to buffalo sauce. Very very disappointed. The tenders had no spices or flavor to them. Could have used some salt, pepper and maybe garlic or onion powder in the fry batter. They were just fried half chicken breasts. On the plus side, The portion was perfect for two people. Then when we said we were ready to go, she asked if we wanted the check (did we miss that it was free night?).
