I was so excited to find a new different spice shop. The staff is so kind and good at explaining things. You can sniff all the spices and teas. The Kahuna Garlic Salt Spice blend was my favorite. You can choose any of the teas to have brewed immediately to drink hot or cold or buy to steep at home. I had the elderberry one and it was delicious! The dill blend tasted delicious and I anticipate it would be great on a sandwich. Can’t wait to return and try more of their unique blends.

Spent a couple days in Port Washington and one of my favorite stores and shopping experiences was the Spice & Tea Exchange . Certainly a large array of spices , whether they were blends or traditional spices . Also a great variety of teas from around the world and very helpful staff that assisted us and answered all our questions about how to brew the special teas . Picked up a couple bags of teas and some finishing salts . Definitely a store I would come back to

I love this store! Friendly and very helpful staff. They are very knowledgeable. Huge variety of spice blends, sugars and salts. But the real reason to shop here are the teas. Really good choices of black, herbal, white and green teas. My favorite tea is the Jasmine Pearl. Excellent! Plus, they will steep any tea for you to go as well. I try to visit here two to three times a year.

The variety of teas and spices are the only reason they get a star. My experience was not good. One of the workers kept scolding my children even though they weren't touching anything. My oldest was looking and asking me and my wife questions, but the lady kept hovering and telling him not to touch anything even though I was next to him and watching him closely. My other child was strapped in a stroller. Furthermore, she kept interfering in our browsing with condescending comments like we knew nothing about tea. The whole experience left me not wanting to come back which is too bad. I work in this community. Guess I’ll stick with my favorite coffee and tea shop just...

I went there because I really like iced tea. There were 4 of us. We each tried a different flavor and every flavor was really good. It’s the perfect thing for walking around Port Washington on a hot day. They have hot tea as well so I imagine it’s also good on a cold day. One thing I noticed is that they made all of the different leaf teas and herbal teas with the correct temperature of water which is something most places overlook.

Again, all the teas were really good. Staff was super friendly and professional. Ilook forward to wandering around downtown Port Washington with some new and different...
