Service, what service!

There was no wait time for seating, and we were provided menus and water quickly. That’s when things started to break down.

Other guests were seated after us and their orders were taken and provided coffee. Once our waitress came back after being away for 10-minutes, our order was placed. Simple order for an omelette and bacon and eggs. Our waitress never asked what we wanted to drink and before she left with our order I asked for two coffees.

Coffee was served and other guests came in and were seated by another waitress, their orders were taken and we waited and waited and waited. We never saw our waitress again.

Then the customer at a table behind us that came in after we did received their food I approached the other waitress and she asked if we wanted to order food. I stated that we were seated long before the other guests and placed our order, and it took far too long and that we were leaving.

I complained to the front desk and I was assured that the Food and Beverage Manager would make contact me concerning this incident. This far, the F&B Manager has failed to contact me. I’m quite cross as a Silver Elite (and former Marriott Gold) by the lack of response.

Do NOT go to this place if you intend to eat the same day.

Embarrassing level of service that was...

Very disappointed with the hotel restaurant. Understaffed, overwhelmed, but not apologetic about unsatisfactory service. After waiting just to be seated in spite of half empty room I decided to do the breakfast buffet just to avoid waiting because we were in a hurry. Selections were slim, things were not refilled. They didn’t give my father utensils so I ended up having to stand up and get it for him from behind the counter. Same thing for dinner. Appetizers took over half an hour. Waitress was defensive and passive aggressive. Food was not good, overpriced and we ended up hungry but afraid to order more bec we did not want to wait too long.

The only reason I tried it for dinner is because it is rated 4.0 still. I want to warn against this. Had a very poor experience, just eat somewhere else it will...

Food was excellent. In the lobby bar, the beers on tap were mostly local craft and between the stout (rotating I believe or seasonal) and the IPA, they were just excellent. Good pilsner as well. Well priced too. If staying in hotel you could take to your room too. Staff super friendly overall. Only drawback was the restaurant was a bit slow. Not sure why. Not excessively but a little sluggish. Staff in restaurant were super nice and accomodating. The bar staff were all great except one fellow who served on saturday and sunday night was not as friendly. Almost seemed a bit short and annoyed. i dont think he was, but it was how he came across.
