I used to eat here a couple times a month when it was Mucho Gracias and was happy it was much like the Mexican food I grew up eating in Arizona. The pandemic changed everything with closures and restricted indoor dining. So when the new paint and renaming to Habaneros, I wanted to check it out. The menu offerings looks the same, along with the employees. A good thing. Being pressed for time, I ordered two crunchy shredded beef tacos with green sauce on the side and was not disappointed. Corn tortillas, stuffed with meat and deep fried, then topped off with some cheese and lettuce. Basic, no frills street food that brought back fond memories. Prices are moderate, staff is friendly, indoor dining, drive thru and delivery is offered through third party apps, and a big plus, the place is a little more tidy than when it was Mucho Gracias.

Got a steak fajita burrito from the drive-through. By the time I got to where i was going (the mall, about 3 minutes away), the bag was dripping with grease. The burrito was completely soaked in grease (pictures included), the tortilla was falling apart due to the being soaked and it was a drippy mess with grease everywhere. The wrapping paper was completely soaked in grease, and my napkins were all half-soaked. The flavor was okay (a little bland, but the habenero sauce was good and was the saving grace of the meal), and I was able to eat it all because I was starving. I'm definitely feeling uneasy after eating it, though. I'm going to try this again because what I got looks nothing like what other people got here, but until then, I'm being generous with the 2 star and hoping for better next time.

Que asco! 🤢 I ordered a quesadilla supreme and this is what I got: I giant tortilla drowning in grease. They did not cut it. It was just folded into the box. So I ripped the box upside down onto a plate. I did it quick enough and onto a plate with an edge on it so luckily the grease didn’t spill everywhere. But when I did, and you can see this in the attached picture, it’s square-shaped where all of the filling has settled into the middle. This left the rest of the giant tortilla just naked with a bunch a dripping grease. Absolutely disgusting! Save your money! It gave me a stomach ache. I’ll never eat here again ! Yuck!

My visit here was so disappointing that the word frustrating doesn't even begin to cover it. Having previously worked at one of the corporate offices in the area, I often dined at various food spots in the community. In 2023, I ordered the same dish as I did today. I took the time to read the ingredients for the "two crunchy tacos" I ordered. The list mentioned nothing about potatoes or sausage in a ground beef crunchy taco; it simply stated "ground beef, lettuce, and cheese"—nothing more. I absolutely do not want, like, or ever wish to have potatoes on my tacos. My frustration with the food was immense, and all I received in response was, "I know, I know." Why do those preparing someone else's meal think it's acceptable to serve whatever they prefer instead of what the customer ordered? It's absurd and disrespectful. I requested what I wanted, not what you think I should have. I suspect this is how your business operates regularly, as I experienced the same issue in 2023. When I returned the order during my 30-minute lunch break, the younger man found it amusing. I promise I will never come back to this place again. Both visits were a complete waste of my time and money, and if I were you, I would reconsider before visiting or just go to Taco Bell—there's really nothing worthwhile here except for standard chain food. Seek out a decent taco stand instead. Honestly, I hope they close this location down. They should never have relocated Habaneros here in the first place. We would much prefer KFC. There's no need for five different Spanish fast food chains on a single...

Ive been a huge fan of muchas for years, the NE location in particular. Its been over a year since ive been there and oh my god, the management must have changed. Their food went from incredible to horrible, and I can tell its not just the cooks. The chicken used to be authentic, shredded, flavorful but now is huge chunks of bland off colored meat resembling something you would find in a can. Not only did it look cheap but it tasted cheaper. Im so disappointed. And even their green sauce that used to be my favorite seems less tasty then it used to. I understand times are tough but at least shred it up and put some salt on it. I got the chicken nacho (used to be soo incredible) and the chicken torta (used to be my second favorite). I got these huge chunks of bland boiled cr*p. A nacho isn't that hard to mess up but they managed to. I was starving and couldnt even try to finish it, and I'm the least picky eater I know. How sad, my friends and I used to rave about this late night joint. Never again? Anyone know any other late night mexican...

I have no problem at all with the flavor of the food at all. The problem that I have has to do with the way the meat was processed. I have 30 years plus in the meat business I grew up in the industry so when I say something I know exactly what I'm talking about no mistake about it. On the four ocassions I ate at the establishment thier was cartlidge and and connective tissue every three or four bites. I had some the size of a quarter. My wife was horrified and wouldn't eat the rest of hers and after getting a mouthful and almost cracking a tooth I was done..if someone had taken the time to remove the tissue and cartlidge it would have been good. Poor craftsmanship is the problem they need to train th e person slicing the meat so it doesnt continue to be a problem. I'm very certain others that have eaten there have had the pleasure of pulling it out of thier mouths too. I won't be eating there again sorry to say. Giving them a two was...
