We went to dinner at this restaurant while celebrating a milestone for of the group members. The staff was very unwelcoming and borderline rude. Our server didn’t even greet us (no hello, no welcome in), just immediately asked if we ready to order less than a minute after half of our party sat down.

We ordered a margarita tree, and the server dropped one of the margaritas on me and I picked it up off the floor. They didn’t offer to remake it even though it had spilled a little, and I had to ask for a new straw because the one that was in there had been on the floor.

There were a few times we had to ask multiple times for things (water, chips, etc) and we never ended up several of the things we asked for. My friend got a salad that had no dressing and they never brought it when asked. Every time we asked for something basic, it was treated like an inconvenience. We all left thinking, wow the wait staff really didn’t want us there. We were not rude or disruptive, but their energy was not great. I am not sure if they don’t like having big groups, but if that’s the case, they shouldn’t allow reservations over a certain size. We made our reservation a month ahead of time, and my friend called to confirm earlier this week, so we did everything right on our end.

The positives were that they had a lot of good vegan options and most of the food was good. I would not go back as it overall was not a good experience, and I would not recommend it to...

I had high hopes for this place. The pictures and reviews looked really good and it's one of the few sit down Mexican restaurants in the area. However, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The service was horrible. First we ordered drinks and the drinks arrived 15-20 min later after we had already received our food (there was maybe 2 other tables, but not busy by any means). And the staff had bad attitudes and seemed bothered by us asking for chips and salsa (never received the chips even though we asked twice). They also never provided us with plates, so we ate over napkins. Majority of the time you could see the staff behind the counter on their phones. Never came to check on us or ask if we needed anything.

We ordered the chicken & steak fajitas, which came with poor quality small bland pieces of meat. The beans and rice had no flavor. And the meal did not come with sour cream, guacamole or pico, like most restaurants provide with a fajita meal. The chips and salsa costs $8 (also not included like most Mexican restaurants) and we never received the chips.

The prices look decent on the menu but they charge you for little things that are typically included with the meal which quickly brings the price up.

Staff is slow, inattentive and rude. I won't be returning and definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There's much better...

It’s a fake bougie Mexican place. Went out with 2 friends. Had to ask for my waters. Straws. We had two waiters because they couldn’t communicate with each other as to who had a table. So constantly repeating ourselves. Then the woman bartender with the batty ugly lashes didn’t want to make a blended drink out of laziness. Told only on the rocks because she didn’t want to do it. We ordered 3 margaritas and they were wrong, had to send it back. I will never be back. Drinks had no liquor, queso was horrible and small for a child. The 2 male waiters with the red bandana and the elderly waiter. Who couldn’t remember our order or write down write. All on cinco de mayo, as a company you did not want to make money or care to give proper customer service....

Got the machaca breakfast plate. The meat wasn't machaca, but instead tiny bits of very poor meat and gristle. The rice was pretty awful too, just orangey and utterly flavorless l. The beans were bland but ok. I got a side of the green sauce which was fairly good, and I liked the tortillas. The price was cheap, but I would have been happy to pay 50% more and gotten a decent meal. Not entirely sure I can put the blame on this meal, maybe it was something else, but 24 later I got the squirts. On the positive side, it's nice and very spacious there, although no particular atmosphere. The service was attentive. Last small point: the sign outside says they are open from 9-9, but it was still closed when I got there at about 9:15. They then opened at 9:30.

Coming from living in Texas we are always looking for Mexican or tex-mex options in Portland. This was our first visit. We were greeted by our waiter, Jose. He asked if we had been to the restaurant before and welcomed us when we said we had not. I selected the Pastor combination (marinated pork) served with rice and beans and a small salad. The corn tortillas were nice and warm. The dinner presentation showed they take pride in what they are serving. The margarita was tasty and strong and went well with the meal. I was pleased with the price as I have had trucks charge more for less quality and no ambience. The setting was pleasant and a nice location to take a date. We will return.

This place was close to the hotel we stayed at and I am sure glad we stopped in because I saw someone munching on queso birria with consomƩ, so I had to order it myself. The staff was very attentive and friendly, checking in to be sure we had all we needed. The mango margarita was delicious and we plan on coming back to have a few more drinks on another night. The carne asada had so much flavor and it just seemed overall authentic. Definitely stop in if you want to try for yourself.
