I recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at this wonderful restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Biscuit, and it was absolutely amazing. The biscuit was perfectly flaky, and the chicken had just the right amount of spice, making it a delightful combination. My husband opted for Dutch's Cinnamon Roll, which I couldn’t resist trying. It was fresh out of the oven, with a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture and just the right amount of cinnamon and sweetness. It truly had that homemade, freshly baked flavor that’s hard to come by. Our kids ordered pancakes with eggs, and they devoured their meals in no time, which speaks volumes about how much they enjoyed it. The pancakes were fluffy, and the eggs were cooked to perfection—a definite win for the whole family. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive atmosphere of the place. Their attentiveness and warm service made our visit even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place that serves delicious breakfast with a cozy, inviting vibe, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. We’ll definitely be back!

Just ate here and it leaves a lot to be desired. You come in, place your order, they give you a tag for your table so they know where to bring your food, you eat them you clean your table and put away your dishes. For starters this is not my work. I'll be there in two hours. The reason you pay to go out to eat is to receive a service not to clean your table and put away your dishes like you are an employee. Second the presentation of the plate is very unappetizing. The food lacks flavor and quality, the staff seemed confused where to put people's food asking us if we had a single plate of something we didn't order. Over all, it's disorganized, you have to do work, the food lacks flavor, the place could be cleaner and let's also talk about the excessive posters that are political. I'm all for a good debate but it is my option politics have no business in a restaurant. Maybe focus on your food and service. The music is really good though. Not coming back though. Not my cup of tea but thank you for reminding me what it was like to eat in a school cafe.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast before work, Perhaps it would be best to place my order before hand as I waited in line with one person in front of me for 15 minutes before my order was taken. I then waited an additional 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich Which was very basic (I think) bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel. The staff was very friendly and attentive once it was my turn to order however, after waiting 20 minutes with no sandwich, I did return to the counter, and my second visit was not warm and friendly They told me they were very busy and that it should be ready within An additional 10 minutes, which makes 35 minutes at this time for breakfast without even sitting down to enjoy it. I do however, work just a three minute walk from this location so by the time I made it to my desk and open my sandwich to enjoy it I was very disappointed (The bagel was soft and soggy , I bit into an egg shell my first bite And just gave up after) if you are in a time crunch, this is not the place for you! I also suggest if you are looking for food worth the money you’re paying this is not the place I wished I had gone to Dunkin’ Donuts. I would’ve been in and out in 10 minutes and at least the sandwich would’ve...

Three friends and myself stopped by Dutch’s and dropped quite a bit of money for breakfast. It was good food, however, this is where my lack of stars begins.

After dropping $100 on slightly above average food, one of the staff members comes over to us saying one of our orange juices wasn’t paid for. The staff member couldn’t tell us who wasn’t charged but said “all I need is a card to take care of this.” The three of us who had orange juices did some basic math and could not find any discrepancies between the menu prices and what we paid.

This staff member and one other came back two more times to ask us for a credit card to pay for a $5.50 orange juice (it was freshly squeezed!). We asked for proof of this unpaid Oj, this could not be provided from staff. We even pointed out the items in front of us, and calculated the total on the fly….all of us paid for our orange juice. At the end of our time we were told “Don’t worry about it, it’s not worth the hassle”.

I would have given Dutch’s 4 stars for good food but this place has horrid service. Staff misplaced an OJ and even though we could prove that we paid for everything on our table, continued to come back to our booth to badger us. Yikes,...

Preface by saying the food is delicious. Everything else not so much. You know how they say "doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result is stupid?" That's what I've learned about ordering at Dutch's for Sunday brunches. Each time I placed a pick-up order by phone, I was told the sandwich would be ready in 10 minutes, and then I would walk over and get there in 10 minutes. Then, there is a line that lasts 30 minutes, because the owner is too cheap to purchase a 2nd cash register terminal. There is a food runner instead of a person yelling out orders for people to pick up themselves, which takes extra time and more resources. There is no pick-up food line. Each time I had to wait 45 minutes to get what I was told will take 10. They leave milk out un-refrigerated for hours on end, and you can taste it in the coffee. This is a horribly inefficient operation and somewhere I will never go again. I would rather travel to Scarborough for St. Joe's breakfast sandwiches - because then I could eat and be back home in 30 minutes. That location has far more foot traffic than Dutch's, has an inside area the size of a bedroom, but they are so efficient with their staff and...
