ZA — Restaurant in Portland

Had a fabulous time at this new little pizza joint the other day! They sell whole pies or certain ones by the slice. My friend & I tried a cheese slice & a mushroom slice. My friend also order a lavender lemonade that she really enjoyed! We went during happy hour (3-5pm I think) so lots of things were $5! For my part of the bill, I ordered a slice of cheese, slice of mushroom, regular lemonade (free refills 🍹), & a white 14inch pizza to go & the total before tip was $40.

I would definitely come back here. There are other things I’d want to try as the pizza was divine & the bartender was attentive & friendly! Oh! You also have to try their ranch!...

Highly recommend Za, the pizza is SO good and reminded me of some of the fondest pizza memories I've had spanning from NC to NY and NJ.

Kid-friendly with great seating options: inside booths and tables, cool bar area, and outdoor patio that featured quality live music when we went.

We got the White and Margherita pizzas and I nearly fell out of my seat after the first bite. We live in Connecticut but were up visiting the Portland area during a baseball tournament. We checked out ZA on a Thursday evening at 7 and were very happy with the choice to eat there for dinner.

We got the cheeseburger pizza which really hit the spot. The crust was thin but not too thin, and it had just the right amount of chewiness/fluffiness. The toppings were well portioned out.

The waiter was attentive and friendly. I was asking about what the crust is like before ordering and we had a nice chat about types of crust compared to CT and NY.
