Elephants at World Trade Center — Restaurant in Portland

Elephants deli bail me out of a potential “hangry” scenario due to another restaurant in the area I intended to visit being effectively closed by not offering seating.

On top of my enjoy for the fact they are open and fully operational and not propagating the fear of the pandemic, their food was most excellent! I had their mahi-mahi fish and chips, and I can tell you having recently been in Hawaii that this mahi-mahi was quality and for the right price! I also ate one of their house made snickerdoodle cookies and, being the connoisseur of cookies that I am, I can report that their cookies are A+ grade!

Good service, timely to bring my food out. Very clean facility.

Visited for the first time today. This place is really pretty inside and I love the spacious seating area. They have a great menu of hot food to order. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and two elephant shortbread cookies to go. The menu didn't specify that the burger comes with sauce on it so I was surprised when I got back to my office. I would have asked for this to be removed if I had known. The burger looked good but I didn't enjoy the taste of the sauce so I wasn't able to continue eating. Was getting an order today for my brother, reading off a list. Called it in. The girl on the phone tells me the sandwiches come with a side of fries. Cool, I need 2 extra. Alls fine. Then I get in and it's just the 2. That's all good and dandy I don't mind waiting, except the girl comes racing up to the counter from the back saying, 'well actually, I told you on the phone they come with a side.' with the most obnoxious attitude.
