Dry with a medium-body, round mouthfeel and vibrant flavors of nectarine, peach, honeysuckle and minerality. The refreshing acidity creates a lively and clean finish.. Enjoy with salmon sliders, ahi tuna, vegetable curries, bruschetta, balsamic chicken kabobs, wood-fired flatbreads, niçoise salads, cheese and charcuterie boards. (91 pts w.e., new vintage)
2021 Estate Pinot Noir
The wine is round and medium-bodied with flavors of dark fruit, earth, game and minerality. Exceptionally balanced with seamlessly integrated tannins, balancing acidity and a lingering finish. This wine will pair beautifully with traditional pinot noir dishes including oregon lamb lollipops, duck breast with fruit compote, herb-crusted pork tenderloin, cedar plank grilled salmon, mushroom risottos and aged cheeses. 2019 Elton Vineyards Pinot Noir
Sourced from old vine plantings at our elton vineyard, founded in 1983 by dick and betty o'brien, on the east-southeast slopes of the eola-amity hills. Deep ruby red color, aromatics of blue and red fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, and santa rosa plums. Red earth/clay minerality that gives the wine a tremendous spice and focus as the flavors drive along. Warmth is provided in each sip you take that reminds you of the first fall days of the year. Pairs with honey baked ham with grilled plums and figs, pad thai with bacon and assortment of seasonal vegetables. (New release-92 points -iwr & 92 points - james suckling)

Jonathan is awesome! I was away for 6 months and have only returned to find Forte even better than the last time I was here. Willamette Valley wines are unique and full of character. You just try the white pinot blanc and the beautifully complex Chardonnay. Flights are updated regularly so visit as soon and as regularly as you can! Coffee in the morning turns into wine after hours, and there's lovely food from New Seasons! Support local businesses. There's no need to make elaborate plans to visit a winery in the middle of the week, with Forte at the heart of the city. Go Forte, Go PDX! My Happy Place.

So, I went to this place called Forte Portland just to check it out. I ended up getting a coffee, but it was completely silent in there. Not a single person was around, which was kind of relaxing, I guess. There's a piano there, but no one was playing it. And get this, the person working the counter was practically asleep when I walked up. I'm guessing it's not exactly a popular place during the day. Maybe it turns into a nice bar or something later at night.

This is BY FAR the best coffee shop in Portland - and that's saying a lot considering how many wonderfully talented baristas there are at the very many quaint and unique coffee shops in the city. If you visit Portland or you're a local who has been here for many years, definitely stop by this place and check it out. The staff is beyond words. They are incredible, talented, knowledgeable and SO kind. From the first time I came here, I knew it was a special place. Jennifer, Malia, and the other members of the team have the unique ability to really connect with their customers and provide excellent service. First time in I just ordered a glass of wine and before I finished, two people totally independent of each other came in and dropped off presents to the owners. "Birthday?" I asked. "No. It's just that our regulars are the greatest." Greatest people watching cafe in downtown Portland. I laid up for a month across the street and this staff had the best Oregon-chill attitude I experienced. As a former-Portland resident who was there before we became too famous; the founders of this unique place are PortlandThroughAndThrough; these folks hosted traveling folk singer and when asked what's up with him they said "I hope it's good music.
