I think I may have found my new favorite coffee spot . . I could end the review there and be happy about it, truly … but I won’t. I won’t bc I think certain places deserve a little more time and effort from me in my reviews especially when they seem to be doing things so well. First time stopping in what I noticed initially was the layout of the shop. It’s got a really cool balance to it. Very open, yet very inviting at the same time. Makes for a great place to hang with friends for a while, or work solo should you choose. Great place to read a book as well with the various comfortable chair options. The counter space to order your coffee is different than most shops - as it’s more open and accessible. There’s no traditional narrow ordering line. I found it to be a really nice change. More importantly to me, however, is always the coffee. I got a 16oz flavored latte and it tasted fantastic. It tasted like quality. Sometimes I tend to taste them a bit too milky at certain coffee shops with just the two shots but this one was really well made. I was back a separate time and a different flavored latte order tasted just as good. All in all, I’d have to say that this place really has some excellent things going on - from the upbeat and polite energy of the employees, to the nice tunes, delicious coffee, sweet decor and overall good vibes. Check this place out! I can’t wait to return for my next cup and maybe a sandwich this time. ☕️🤙🏼

Genuinely just had the worst experience at this coffee shop. I was completely minding my business doing work, I had been sitting alone for about an hour and planned to be there most of the day, I hadn’t ordered anything because it was still early in the morning for me. A worker approached me and asked if I was going to buy anything and told me if not I had to leave, because I can’t sit there for free. It was very rude and as someone with social anxiety, it’s situations and people like this that make it difficult to be out alone. He blamed it on the restaurant being busy but there were multiple open seats by me as well as the whole other half of the restaurant for people. I immediately left because I will not be spending my money at places that treat costumers like that. When leaving he said “I’m not trying to be rude, you just can’t chill for free”. If this is a company policy maybe it should be posted on each table.

Phenomenal service and menu items!! Was staying nearby for the weekend and I literally came in every day. Reasonably priced and made to order items! " The Dude " breakfast sandwich is the perfect balance of sweet and savory and is super filling too! Their drinks are probably the best coffee I've had in the area. Their chai is perfectly spiced and not super sweet (which is perfect) and their red velvet specialty coffee is super nice as well - this one's on the sweeter end though. Come in and try literally anything and you're practically guaranteed to leave full and satisfied.

7/23/2025-First time with friends. Drip Drop Coffee (NOT Drip Coffee Bar!): Still open and worth a visit!

This is Drip Drop Coffee and YES, they are still open for business! Don’t confuse it with Drip Coffee Bar on 1st SW Ave, which is temporarily closed. Be sure to enter the name correctly in your GPS or Google search so you don’t end up at the wrong spot.

What made my visit great: The crew here is amazing. Big shoutout to Makiah and Marcus for being incredibly welcoming and fun. Their good energy made my afternoon. Tip them well!

Custom Drink Order (lesson learned): I got a 16oz Iced Latte with: -Oat milk ($1) -Extra 2 espresso shot ($2) -Hazelnut syrup ($1) Total: $9.75.

If you’re customizing your drink like I did, just know it adds up. It’s more cost-effective to order directly off the drink menu.

Food: The Dude Waffle – $12: I asked for it extra crunchy and it delivered. The sugar baked into the waffle gave it a nice touch. Standard sausage and scrambled eggs on the side. I personally prefer eggs with yolk, but Marcus explained they don’t have an exhaust system, so scrambled works best for their setup and helps keep service fast.

Atmosphere: -Great natural lighting throughout the shop. -Chill vibe with flexible seating options, ideal to stay and hang for a bit. -Located at street level corner of the newly colorful painted parking structure next to and on top of the café. -Street metered parking is also available.

Tips: -Visit on Sundays before 1 PM for free street parking if you’re not in the area. -Take your drink to-go and enjoy it across the street at Terry Schrunk Park on a nice day. -I plan to come back, order straight from the menu next time, and give their gelato a shot. -Fingers crossed one day they add brown sugar syrup, my favorite with quad expresso and oat milk!

Restroom: -One-stall, gender-neutral restroom. -No toilet seat cover. -You need to ask...
