We were looking for a place to grab a quick breakfast on a Monday morning. Most places were closed on Mondays, not open yet, or temporarily closed due to Covid. I found Market Street Eats via Yelp and they had some pretty interesting-sounding wraps so we decided to give it a try. We got to the restaurant and there were instructions on the door to order online, call when you're there, and then someone will bring it out.
I had the Lumberjack (2 over hard eggs, roast beef, red onion, Cabot cheddar, Thai mayo) and added tots to the wrap. The Thai mayo was really what drew me to this. It was unique, and the flavor turned out great. However, the roast beef was a bit thick and chewy, so I probably wouldn't order roast beef from here again. The wrap could have also used some more tots. Fiance had the Red Rooster (chicken breast, crispy bacon, melted provolone, red onion, Thai mayo), which I liked better than mine.
Wraps range from $7 to $10 depending on which wrap and if you get any add-ons. It's a pretty great deal considered the wraps are huge. When we placed the order, the site said it would be about 15 minutes. We were already in the area so we called after about 10 minutes and it was ready already.
Great option if you want a quick/healthy-ish...
Read moreOrdered door dash and the system allowed me to order 3 items found out only 2 were available once door dash driver showed up. So I just decided to keep the two then as the door dash driver delivered food the “manager” called me and said he needs me to run outside and tell the door dash driver to turn back and come get the right order. At this point it’s been two mistakes within ten minutes so I said just cancel the order and the “manager” says if that’s how you want to play it and hangs up on me and never refunded the order. So I called back and he was extremely rude over spoke me the whole time told me I was rude to not run outside and send the person back to his restraunt cause mistakes happen. He ended up saying I had “ alpha male energy and didn’t like it” whatever that means…. Then when I asked for his name he hung up...
Read moreThe Dream Team rolled into this place after Yelp reviews suggested that it would be a solid choice. We are an interesting crew of three regarding diet, as one chap eats super clean and highly disciplined about it at all times, the other has eaten an entire Little Caesar's Bacon Wrapped Deep Deep Dish pizza in one sitting, and I am a blend of the two seemingly. This joint was capable of satisfying all three of us. The music, service, decor, and food make for a great experience. The great flavors of the properly cooked and combined ingredients on the somewhat rare way of preparing the wrap (crunchy, but not overly so that it would break apart with the contained ingredients) were also perfectly proportioned so that all three of us were able to eat and not have to...
