Nacho's House Mexican Kitchen — Restaurant in Portland

My gf and I stumbled upon this spot by chance. The Mexican restaurant we normally order from was closed. This was the nearest spot to my gf who was driving. So happy the other spot was closed. NACHO is a Mexican god! We moved here from Southern California and have been spoiled with plentiful options of Mexican food. Upon moving to Portland a short while ago, we found the Mexican food lacking, “that little something”. It wasn’t until we found NACHO that we realized the beans and more specifically the rice. His burritos are on par with some of our local spots in Southern California. He is a blessing in disguise. I love the Nacho Burrito with French fries instead of chips inside. Yum 🤤. Ask nacho about the Peruvian guy he will tell you I ate at his place everyday for 1 week straight once I tried one of his burritos.

What we ordered:

1. House burritos -Carne Asada -NO Pico de Gallo -extra sour cream -guacamole

2. California Burrito (Nacho Burrito) -carne asada -no Pico -fries inside instead of chips -cheese -extra sour cream special green enchilada...

First-time here & late post alert !!⚠️📢 We tried this place as the hotel next door recommended. I had the Chicken Burrito, and it was superb.🌯🌯🌯 There mild spicy sauce (green color). It Sooo good, they gave us 3 and we used it all up for our burritoo🌶 Super tasty, juicy, and filling and made our first day in Portland. They have outside patio seating to sit, and you can sit inside the restaurant/bar area if needed. (To be honest, I'm not sure if you can, but we have seen other people go in as well to sit). Nacho and Victor make some really good food. Seriously if you’re looking for some great food, this is the place to go. I like going here on my lunch breaks. Can’t go wrong here. Some of my favorites are their nachos con pollo, spinach and mushroom burrito, carne asada burrito, and their guacamole is phenomenal!! Awesome people, good food, and quick service.

Also you can stop by Voodoo Doughnut across the street for dessert. Great meal plus dessert. Win, win :)
