I don't drink coffee but I'm an occasional customer of Peets for tea etc, and even have suggested them to friends in the past as an alternative to the large well known national coffee chain. Today I went in and asked if they have a restroom, was told they have a "customer restroom". So I don't count as a customer because today I urgently needed to use the restroom before buying anything. Stressed, I briefly looked over what I might want to buy, found a very small container of orange juice, but it was $5.75. I asked the smiling, passive aggressive white Karen employee what was the cheapest thing I could buy to use the restroom, was told the biscotti. For $2-something. Checked the ingredients and found they contain eggs and other such products from enslaved, tortured animals (not vegan). So, though I wanted to drop my pants and take a dump in the middle of the floor, I more politey left. Absolutely terrible service not to mention insane prices. I will never buy from...

Not a ton of seating but They've got a bar sitting, a couple of single comfy chairs ( which is what really does it for me ) with little round tables, hard tables with single square tables & outside seating where the tables can seat two. Also the place next door has covered picnick tables that are almost always empty. It's pretty quiet in there so can be a great place to read, get some work done at times...It might just be the location but the customers here also aren't that friendly hahaha. Again all that really matters is that the coffee is great, if atmosphere is important too you then just sit outside if it's crowded or you're feeling the grumpy /...

Seating abundant, with tables outside (fresh air available, rain optional) the fruit, yogurts, muffins, croissants, cakes and pastries are daily and fresh. The visitors are ever changing from 6 am to the evening, closes 7 pm. Last minute coffees are understandably irksome", even a 5 minutes to 7 pm coffee... you can sense the long day winding down and cleaning down equipment to head home is on everyone's mind.
