Chappy's Deli — Restaurant in Prattville

One of our favorite places to eat. I have been ordering the take 2 for 10.95. I get a half turkey sandwich and the side salad. My wife ordered same thing tonight, and everything was going great till they brought out a whole sandwich. Said we ordered off the deli sandwich not the take 2. Said we had to order off the menu on a sandwich like chicken salad, grilled cheese, or one of the listed sandwiches to get that special. It says on that take2, deli sandwiches, grilled cheese and chicken salad. I realize waitress was new and so was manger. Just a little confused and they got menu and we showed them what we ordered and they still said we had to order a different sandwich than the turkey??? They said we could have the extra half since they would just throw it away, and they they would not charge us for our tea to make price right. Ticket had 2 10.95 take 2, plus 2 salads for 2.50 each. I ordered the ranch turkey wrap, and it was prepared without any type of condiments on it at all. It is described on the menu as having ranch on it, and I couldn't find any, so I had to request some ranch dressing on the side. Once, I finally managed to get my wrap ready to eat. It was quite good. The atmosphere wasn't great because it was overcrowded, too loud, and too warm. The A/C may have very well been running at its capacity and still been unable to get it any cooler due to the sheer number of people in the room. I realize that as a business, you want volume, but those tables are just too close together. Putting that many people in there only ensures that everyone is less comfortable and unable to hear the other person at your own table. The service was very attentive. I walked in and the cooks are back there playing around with food dying in the window and it's like the employees are walking around clueless. Chappys deli is hurting real bad, I guess they won't be in business that long, they can't afford to give out no more than 1 silver of green peppers and onions. Chappys deli delivers hot hot cookies to you like what is that? Unfortunately I got a new server that training was rushed cause she didn't know the menu. They have revamped their menu and nobody ask then too. The old menu was just fine. The servers don't sweep under the table or clean tables after each guest. I have high anxiety and don't like conflict so I didn't complain about the food under the table on the floor the dirty table or the sandwich made wrong. Or the server not introducing herself.
