Delivery people were the rudest, most unprofessional I have ever seen! My friend ordered food from here to be delivered to my house. Our food never came it was delivered to the house across the street. When a second delivery person came they asked us to take our order from these people we do not know ( it had been in their house for an hour!) and for us to bring them their order ( we didn't have it) we told them this and they went ballistic (screaming and swearing and calling us names). So we left assuming we could resolve the issue the next day with someone more clear headed. Two hours later at 4 am the cops knock on my door waking me and my roommate up asking for my friend who had ordered the food (who had already left my house at 2am when her food never came) I informed the cops that and they left. (JRS wasting the time of Providence Police on a Friday night over their own delivery mistake) This was the most absurd and horrible experience of ordering food. JRS never apologized for screwing up our order, they never came up with a solution to rectify THIER mistake, and they called the POLICE to a costumers house over their mistake! Grub hub refunded my friend all of her money. Jrs did nothing to apologize or fix their mistake despicable! Also swapping food between two costumers is never food safe or acceptable especially when these strangers had our food in their house...
Read moreI have never been here, I live across the country in Seattle Washington but low and behold this establishment has repeatedly taken money from our business account as if we did come eat there. Of course we called the bank and reported this fraudulent activity several times yet it continues. If you use this establishment and do use any form of debit or credit card payment do check your account activity as you may find that your bank account Could have or may be compromised. We never gave our account # to these people or ever ate there, yet this fraudulent activity has been ongoing, three times so far. Who there would benefit from taking other peoples hard earned money? Owner? Manager? Trusted employee? I strongly feel that all who read this post be extremely cautious if you decide to do business with this questionable establishment. Pay with cash !!! Never, never, never use a bank card or any form of electronic payment with this establishment who repeated takes money out of a account 3,000 miles away, especially when this transaction has been disputed every time. What dose common sense tell you about these people. Would I trust them to make a safe lunch or dinner ??? Is the food fresh, has it been prepared in a clean sanitary environment? Read moreI’ve ordered from JR’S a few times on Grub Hub and been very happy with the food and orders. In fact, I ordered from them yesterday with no issue. Today, I placed an order ahead of time by almost three hours to have my food delivered at 6pm. Grub Hub kept saying my order was coming soon on their app and that the restaurant had it from there. 46 minutes past my order I try to call twice and I get to their message box with a voice message saying not to leave a message because it’s not checked often. I go onto the GrubHub app and proceed to start chatting with a representative and explain that I love JRS and have never had a problem and I’m trying to be polite because it’s Christmas but this is unacceptable as now it’s almost an hour later and I’d like at the very minimum a full refund so I can go grab something myself. Now, I have $45 taken out of my account that will take up to five business days to return to me and no food. Merry Christmas JR’s.
