Atmosphere: 4 Super cute little café! I love the wall shelving and the décor on it. Ordering was easy, but there isn't a ton of space between the counter and the door, so I can imagine it getting crowded if it gets busy. Seating is along the glass window which is aesthetically pleasing, and an interesting choice. When the sun shines through the windows, it does get hot on the backs. You also won't be sitting face to face with your coffee mate. Note that there doesn't seem to be a guest bathroom!
Portion: 5 The size options of the coffee are standard, and the coffee was filled to the top of the cup. Portioning for the milk and flavored syrup seems a little off, and imbalanced.
Flavors: 4 I ordered a latte with oat milk and the brown sugar vanilla syrup. I tasted a lot of the nuttiness of the milk, but not much of the coffee. The entire drink tasted sweet, but it didn't taste like brown sugar, and the vanilla flavor was nonexistent. For another $0.75, it felt like a waste of money.
It was worth a try to go to the café, and it's really cute. However, the way the seats were set up, it's not really the kind of place you would go to hang out for long. Not to mention, it doesn't seem to have a bathroom, and the coffee...
Read moreGreat cafe! Not the best place to work. No outlet and WiFi but I think that helps cus itâs pretty small. I did work a bit until my laptop needed to be charged. I did ask if I could work there and they said of course but they donât have WiFi and outlets :)
It seems like the staff know a lot of the customers by name which I love and also seems to make the effort to ask for names again. I heard the guy ask a lady what her name was again and I think itâs to remember it for the future. I love that! Also cute little kitchen window for food :) didnât take a pic :(
They seem super welcoming. And I love it! The ham and Swiss croissant was so good! Might be the best one my sister and I have tried! Got the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and it was good too! Came out hot. Ordered the beet and goat cheese scone and this other thing that seems like a stuffed everything bagel but idk
I donât think they have the best matcha lol itâs not bad⊠but this area doesnât seem to have much matcha⊠slowly coming in maybe. Anyway, would def come back to try other drinks cus they have seasonal drinks and would try...
Read moreHoly moly. This place is amazing! My husband got an iced coffee (simple, but delicious), and I got an iced chai latte (not too sweet, which is just how I prefer them). And we both enjoyed a breakfast sandwich. Wow. Wow wow wow. Breakfast sandwiches are a dime a dozen in PVD. There are so many good options. But Little City has stripped back to basics and is just using really good, in-house-baked and freshly-prepared ingredients for an amazing outcome. Watching their wonderful staff make it fresh on the griddle for you doesnât hurt either. The strawberry pistachio scone is soft and fluffy and salty and tart and sweet all at once. This may look like just another Providence cafe, but it is a fast favorite and we will be back for sure. Definitely recommend...
