RUDE AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I Will NEVER order food from this place ever again! Let me start by saying I never had a problem with their food or service in the past. Well NEVER AGAIN! I placed an order through Grub Hub and the delivery service was good but the steak and cheese was horrible! The steak was beyond dry, over cooked, black and basically looked like the meat was sitting out for hours! I felt like they put old meat on a new bun and delivered it to me!
When I called to discuss the issue the lady was rude and argumentative with me over $6.00. The sub cost was $9.00 and they gave me a 3.00 discount. The same lady told me it was the type of steak and it wasn’t burnt. Well it doesn’t take a genius to know what burnt and old food tastes like. When I started to tell her about the service, food, etc... she hung on me! I called right back and she didn’t answer. I then received a call back from her stating the only way I will get my money back is if the driver picks up the sandwich and at this point they can keep their $6.00! The same lady tried to tell me I ate the sandwich....I have ZERO interest in trying to scam a fast food spot for a free sandwich! (I wish saved the sandwich but I refuse to go dig in my garbage). Lesson learned next time take a picture of the food! Moving forward they will never receive my business again for her...
Read morePizza Queen, situated at 215 Weybosset Street in Providence, Rhode Island, has been a staple in the downtown dining scene, particularly popular among the late-night crowd. The establishment offers a variety of pizzas, salads, and subs, catering to diverse palates.
The pizza is characterized by a thin crust, with a balanced cheese-to-sauce ratio. While some patrons have noted that the crust can be soggy at times, others appreciate its flavor and consider it a solid choice for a quick bite. The Greek grilled chicken salad and shrimp salad are frequently mentioned for their generous portions and satisfying taste. However, there have been occasional remarks about the quality of desserts, such as the chocolate cake, which some found lacking.
The ambiance of Pizza Queen is straightforward, aligning with its role as a go-to spot for late-night diners. Service experiences vary, with some customers finding the staff less engaging, though this does not seem to detract significantly from the overall dining experience.
In summary, Pizza Queen serves as a reliable option for those seeking a quick meal in downtown Providence, especially during late hours. While there are areas that could benefit from improvement, such as the consistency of the crust and dessert offerings, the establishment fulfills its role as a convenient spot for...
Read moreI would give this place no stars if I could.
The manager of this store is incredibly rude and has no sense of how to run a business.
I ordered a pizza and soup to be delivered for my boyfriend's lunch break for it to only be delivered to the wrong address. When I called the manager to let him know I received an email saying that my food was delivered and that nothing was left at my door, he gave me an attitude and decided yelling was the only way to communicate with me. He told me since the food was delivered that he would not give me a refund. He insisted that it was delivered to my address even though I told him countless times that I received nothing and that I have cameras outside of my house to show that no one came by. After going back and forth for almost 30mins with the manager and the driver (who was also rude), the driver confirmed that he left the food at the wrong address.
I'm seeing other reviews say that the people in the shop are rude. I thought it was just me that he decided to be rude to but seeing as how they are like this to a lot of people just proves that they don't deserve business.
I've ordered from here before but I've never had to talk to the manager and after doing so one time, I will never do business...
