Sushi Cafe — Restaurant in Providence

I’d give this place 0 stars if I could. I ordered 2 cucumber rolls. The man gave me 2 California rolls. I said “I’m sorry to complain but I ordered 2 cucumber rolls. I would eat it but I’m allergic to avocado” he responded “no you didn’t you ordered California” I said “I’m allergic to avocado, I wouldn’t have ordered that” and he took it back and scrapped the avocado and other stuff off of it and re-served the same roll with everything except cucumber scraped out. To put it plainly the sushi is ugly. The rolls are wonky, the rice is not distributed evenly, (looks patchy). The sushi pieces are all different sizes as some really thick and others are so thin they fall apart at the touch. The pieces themselves look like trapezoids and wonky squares. The female chef is just slapping it together with no passion. The art that is sushi making has been lost. Clearly no care or love for the craft. Very disappointed to see this location...

I freaking love Sushi Cafe. Out of the entire food court, this is the spot. The sushi is literally so delicious (at least the vegetarian ones- I always get sweet potato and avocado), better than some of the veggie sushi that you might get at a fancy restaurant.
