My wife was craving a lobster roll all summer and as it was our second time of this summer spending a week in North Truro we took the shuttle into Provencetown and decided to try the Lobster Pot express. We made an excellent choice if I do say so myself. Her lobster roll was absolutely stuffed with lobster, just looking at it in comparison to photos from other area restaurants and their lobster roll offerings was evident. She wholeheartedly enjoyed it and said it was delicious. I ordered the clam with belly plate and although the portion wasn’t as large as I get in the Ipswich Ma area, it was a great deal enough to fill me up and very fresh. The service was take out but the order came out very fast. Definitely a place to check out if you are coming to Provencetown.

Very Busy place. Worth the wait. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. Had the lobster roll (hot). The roll was well plated and appealing to the eyes. I would rather had the lobster roll already doused with the butter instead on the side but didn’t take away from the amount of lobster in the roll. My companion had a burger and fries which the fries were nice crispy and hot. The Burger was priced right and cooked to the requested temperature. Juicy and tasty. Certainly will return.

The prices are ABSOLUTELY outrageous, but we decided to splurge and go for the whole bellied clams, hot buttered lobster roll, and clam chowdah in a bread bowl. Although this isn't something I could afford often, it was a delicious vacation treat and worth every penny. I only wish the lobster roll had come with fries and not just chips. For that price I feel throwing in some fries would be fair. Will definitely return next year.

I just found the worst lobster roll in North East. While the original Lobster Pot is a classic New England seafood restaurant, this place doesn’t know what their aim is. Lobster roll was dismal and petite- no wonder the place is so dead. You’re rather overwhelmed by workers chatting and fighting at the eating corner. This defines disaster. Don’t waste your money here....

On the updated note to the owner, I am sorry if my review affects negatively, but that's the nature of a review. It's not meant to hit 2 out of 10 chances right, but it's about the ability to hit all 10 chances good at any given time. I will correct my review once I come back to your establishment as I have with other places, but until then it's in your best interest to serve all customers well until their good reviews...

My friend who was visiting for the first time heard about the lobster pot and wanted to go. We didn't want a s in t down dinner with waiter etc. No time do we went to express. He got a traditional hot lobster roll for an outrageous price of $35 maybe $40. He said it was good but not $40 good. He also had clam chowder too and said it was decent. I got the fish and chips for $20 and was very disappointed in that because although the breading was crispy and crunchy the fish was just so soggy and mushy . It was just not edible and we both left still feeling hungry. For $75 we both spent combined, the meal was just not worth that price. I'll never go back to lobster pot. That was my first and last...
