Alrighty, let's get on with this
The sample sizes were very generous, so much so, I felt like I shouldn't be allowed to ask for a lot of them, however, the person in front of me got like 5 so it's allowed ig.
The ice cream itself is alright, maybe not something to write home to, but I would go back here again. It's a very solid 4/5. I got the raspberry cheesecake and my date got the minty moo. The cheesecake was exactly what it needed to be, a good flavor to eat to while talking. Unfortunately, my date did not like the mint, it tasted too much like toothpaste. The sizes were what you'd expect and the prices were a little cheaper than I'd have expected, so nice!
The aesthetic here is ok, nothing particularly stands out as something I don't like either. All in all, the atmosphere is perfectly adequate for what it needs to be. The mural on the wall is fun though, ig
I will say when I first walked in, it smelled like metal (in a bad way) but it turned out to just be the b/o of the people at a table by the entrance, so in no way the places fault.
The consumer service was excellent, my group needed more space and asked if we could push some tables together which the people behind the desk happily said yes too. I'd like to particularly mention the girl who served me (sorry, I don't know her name), she had brown hair and a sweater with cats wearing bear costumes. She had a wonderful smile that made the place feel lively and a personality that makes you feel like she genuinely cared and wasn't only working for money.
All in all, I would recommend this place! I am adequately full...
Read moreBest IN-HOUSE ice cream I've ever had! My abosulute favorite flavor was the Crazy Chunky Monkey(or something like that). It was made with REAL fresh bananas, I usually hate banana flavoring, but it was perfection! Incredibly creamy and rich, lux and delectable.
**AND let's not forget that this is a small family owned business. I personally love finding small businesses to shop at and to give back to the community. I'm so lucky I found The Twisted Cow! They exceeded all my expectations and continue to do so as they have grown. You can tell they truly love and appreciate every customer. *That's why I keep coming back, even all the way from Florida sometimes!
I was lucky enough to be a very early customer of The Twisted Cow. I got to know the owners, such a loving couple of newlyweds! I was able to see firsthand how they were making their famous in-house ice cream and got to see all the fresh ingredients and products, the fresh baked brownies and cookies.... It really is the passion, effort, and quality that set The Twisted Cow apart from these other ice-cream chains.
I love The Twisted Cow! It will always be a go-to when I'm in town - no...
Read moreI’ve been wanting to try this place for weeks, and finally got to go tonight, and it did not disappoint.
Their main offering is what I like to call “over-the-top-shakes,” but their twist is that you get to customize design your own, and they’re constantly innovating their ice cream flavors.
I was blown away by how good the ice cream was. I LOVE shakes, but I enjoyed the ice flavors so much, I decided I had to get scoops instead of a shake so I could enjoy them more.
If you get the 16 oz jar (which you get to keep), you choose your ice cream flavors (for a shake or as scoops), a dip/ coating to cover the rim, 1 free small topping which is a rim topping, and 1 large topping which is a treat that goes on top. (They’ll heat it up if you want it warm, like their brownies!).
I’m excited to go back and try an actual shake next time, but I loved the brown cow brownie, cookie butter, and nutty herd scoops that I tried tonight.
