I have been shopping at this Sam's Club location since 1997, and after all these years I still love it! The selection is excellent, the store is orderly and well-kept, and the employees are exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Sometimes we find that they no longer carry certain merchandise that we have grown to love, but I understand that the store has to carry only products that are really popular so they don't just languish on the shelves like so much dead stock. Thankfully that has only happened a small handful of times over these many years, and most of the items we really love are always available.
The cafe is one of the best parts of the store, and always has hot, fresh, delicious pizza and hot dogs. Occasionally there seems to be a shortage of staff, but whoever is running the counter makes sure people don't have to wait too long. The price for a whole pizza can't be beat, and the quality is fantastic.
Overall, the best part of this Sam's location is the staff. Some of them I look forward to seeing every time I'm there, like Garrison and Annette. They have an amazing attitude and positive outlook, and every time they greet us, it makes our day!
I'm not sure how to make this Sam's better, except perhaps to say that the fuel station could be more organized to help the flow of traffic. Since their fuel prices are almost always unmatched, it's a terribly busy place much of the time. However, when people enter the pump area from both directions, it can become a little chaotic. I think Sam's could take a page from Costco's book and expand their fuel lanes, and make them flow one direction only.
All in all, I will continue to visit this Sam's Club as long as we...
Read moreOrdered online groceries to be picked up in store and second time I had issues with payment. My son was picking up and did not have my card of course because I have it. He was trying to get the total and right off the bat the lady (Cheryl) at the pick up kiosk was rude from the start. She lied to her manager about what happened. She told the manager that my son said he was leaving with the items even if they were not paid for.. let’s be real here l, that is entirely impossible with said items in a locked cage and an employee who acts like a pit bull after it taste fresh blood. I had just got off the phone with the manager and explained the situation before my son got there, I can only assume (Cheryl) thought my son didn’t have payment and was asking to speak to the manager to take payment over the phone because she stated to my son that they don’t take payments over the phone. On my end it did not give me a total due to it not being picked up nor did it give me the option to pay via the app. I was literally on the phone with a rep for sams club . Com orders while all of this was going on, as we were having difficulties with payment. My bank allowed me to transfer and my son paid. However, Cheryl was still rude to him. That is not right at all, my son is special needs as well. He got upset due to her being so rude. I called sams club and spoke with manager and she told me what Cheryl said, she also stated she heard my son yelling, after she told him no manager is going to take payment over the phone.. I was working with a sams club rep on the phone and in chat with my bank. Cheryl is not...
Read moreBeen a Sam's member for awhile. Originally started for the price on bulk item, particulary items used a lot or would keep a long period of time. Lately I have seen some less than good business practice changes. Bulk prices in some cases no less than single item cost, especially when compared to some smaller chains offering good prices. Name brand items no longer sold, while the "member" product around the same price and quality/taste questionable. One item I purchased frequently, olive oil, has made some deceptive changes bordering on bait and switch business practices. Olive oil is strictly regulated in the countries where produced, ie., Italy for one. The highest quality, eaten "raw", salads, drizzled over food etc., clearly marked " extra or extra, extra virgin-first COLD press". If not marked so, it is regulated, it is not of the highest quality and the best olive oil was removed during the first pressing. You are buying oil pressed out of what is left of the first pressing, the second and possibly the third or later remains. Not good enough to say on the container, "cold extration". Sam's club olive oil container looks the same but contains less than before and clearly does not state, "First Cold Pressing", because it is not. And the price is going up. Clearly this has to be intentional, Sam's buyer are professional enough to know this, and have made a conscience decision to deceive members for higher profits. I now purchase that and other...
