PIB Candy Bar — Restaurant in Put-in-Bay Township

I wouldn't recommend going here for their ice cream, it's not good. The Chocolate Museum is now closed unfortunately, so we went here instead. The employees working the ice cream counter were pretty rude, dismissive. I ordered a scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough and I swear there were a total of 5 cookie dough chunks and zero chocolate chip pieces. My scoop of ice cream was essentially flavorless vanilla. I wanted to ask for a refund, but I already asked if they got me cookie dough when I first got my cone - because it just looked like vanilla. They assured me, but again were dismissive and I figured asking for a refund would be a headache. If you do want to get good ice cream in a freshly made waffle cup, I would highly recommend Sweet Siblings - that one...

We stopped in to The Candy Bar while we were checking out downtown Put-In-Bay and wow! Everything looked delicious. They had loads of your standard mass-produced candy but also had lots of homemade treats (fudge, rice crispy treats, truffles, etc) as well as some delicious coffee/expresso options. The staff was super friendly and patient with us, as we had 6 boys in tow who were a bit overwhelmed each picking something that they wanted to try. This is a great little candy/coffee shop in the perfect location and we would highly recommend stopping in if you are in Put-In-Bay!

My friends and I ordered three $9.77 milkshakes and my friends strawberry milkshake tasted ROTTEN!!!! Mine was so watery I wonder if water was added in!!!
